Audi Cuyahoga Falls Service Location

Audi Cuyahoga Falls Service Customer Reviews

My only good experience at this location was that they were quick to get me a loaner car, which was part of my extended warranty package. Other than that, there were problems with both this dealership, and the “Audi Care” inspector. First, for initially overcharging me until I rebutted the amount. Secondly, for misdiagnosing a “water damaged” mirror sensor at a 3k cost when it was actually a spliced wire which cost me 1/10 that amount to fix. If you would like to read more about my experience, continue below. I had recently moved to the area from out of state. My mirror motion sensors began malfunctioning on and off for a few weeks, then stopped working entirely. Since I have extended warranty, I took my car to this service on a Friday. The service desk called the following business day (Monday), that there was a problem with the engine mounts and sensors. They also said that my car warranty expired and I would have to pay out of pocket. I let the service representative know I had the extended warranty. They double checked and said I was correct. Because it was under warranty, they would have to bring in an “Audi Care” inspector. On Tuesday, they called saying that they just got the report back and the mounts were covered but the sensors were not since the inspector found water damage. They said the cost to repair would be close to 3k out of pocket. I asked how/where there was water damage and he said the inspector did not say how, just that there was water damage to the sensor. Therefore, the warranty did not cover this repair. I then asked for the name and phone number of the inspector, but was only provided their phone number and claim number. I called the inspector and only got an assistant/customer services line. They would not give the rationale of where or how the water damage occurred to the side mirror sensor. I ended up only getting the engine mounts fixed since it was covered. When paying at the Audi dealership, they said I owed a little over 1k. After going through the costs and calculating it myself at the service desk, it came out to $670. They realized that they did not input my warranty into the system correctly. Had I not refuted the amount, I would have paid roughly $500 dollars more than I should have. For the sensors, I went to a different Audi service center for a second opinion. It turns out that there was a spliced wire that connected to the mirror sensors. So instead of paying 3k for the new sensors, I only had to pay about $300 for the wire to be reconnected. Most of that $300 was labor since it was hard to get to the location of the spliced wire.
