Over the weekend I was truly blessed with a good solid 2022 Toyota 4RUNNER. I had no intent to get a vehicle so quickly but luckily the salesman Ruben Espinoza was truly a God sent! He walked me through the process and was 100% honest and very kind. Took the time to listen and show me the vehicles available and he helped me find the best one to my needs. If you're looking for a vehicle and want a good deal I totally recommend him to anyone!

Pretty good experience buying from them. I do feel like they (like every other car dealership) try and trick you into every money-scheme they can come up with. I asked for 26k for my trade in and they told me it was only worth 18 and I finally got them to give me a few more thousand than that. Then they proceeded to list it on their website for (guess what?) …🥁 🥁 🥁 … 26k. 🤦♂️ Also, they were a bit weird about me switching over my possessions from the old car to the new car. I ended up having to do it in the parking lot of the bank I got the cashier’s check to buy the new car, which had me flustered with the salesman standing there waiting for me (he did help me move some stuff). But I forgot a crucial film that gives me access to my apartment complex. When I reached back out to the dealership to get that back they told me it wasn’t there… :( I live here locally and I think it would’ve been nice if they would have called to tell me they had it so I could come get it instead of just throwing it away when they cleaned the car to resell it. Not impressed by that as it is an expensive thing I’ll have to replace. Lastly, it was disappointing when I got the car the detail was very incomplete. The salesman told me he’d make it right and I had a free detail whenever I wanted to schedule it. So I scheduled it and brought the car in and when I got the car back it was even dirtier than when I took it in for the second detail: sticking orange stuff in the cup holders and on the ignition switch, trash in my back seat, the windows were “cleaned” with dirty cleaner or a dirty rag so they had a splotchy dirty film on them. I informed the salesman it was worse after the second time and he didn’t respond at all. Not very impressive as during the buying process their motto was something along the lines of “our commitment to great customer service does not end after you purchase the car and drive out of the dealership.” Tldr- Toyotas are great cars, but customer service and buying experience could be improved!

Took my Prius in because of an issue with my passenger airbag. Will Talbott and his lead tech Yoshi were great. They were professional, prompt, patient, and gave me helpful advice both over the phone and in person. Would definitely recommend their team!

Angel Bayona made everything super easy and streamlined. He's super easy to talk to and doesn't give you the run around. Overall my experience at American Toyota was great and would recommend Angel Bayona, my sales person, to anyone because he's damn good.

Poor customer service, decent auto work. Service representatives are not customer-oriented and are hard to reach. This will be the last time bringing my Toyota in for service here. It's unfortunate because this establishment's service department used to be top-notch but has declined over the past three years since I've been coming here. Wait times are longer and the customer service is poor. The auto mechanics do a good job (hence 2-star review, instead of 1-star), but sadly the service reps teams bring subpar attitudes and service.

I started bringing my 2013 Toyota Corolla S here for oil changes. Now I pretty much have them take care of all my car's needs. Honestly, my car has been running better since bringing it here. Genuine Toyota parts really do make a difference. Will, my Service Advisor, is absolutely the best!

The service at this place is quite disappointing. I’m writing this after waiting 2.5hrs for my oil change and having 0 resolution to the main issue I came in for which was just to replace the volume non on my Tundra which had cracked. After finally getting my truck back I was just told I would need to go to a different department to have my knob replaced, only to be referred to yet another department only to finally throw my hands up after losing 2.5 hrs of my day here. Definitely not signing up for any more care packages her in the future.

Yeah I don't know why I kept coming back. I try to take advantage of their service coupons but run into a problem every time. Usually they are very nice, but the kind of fabricated kindness to sweeten you up to get you to buy things. I first started going because my transmission went out and they replaced that. My warranty covered most of the costs and my insurance supplied me with a rental in the meantime. I was happy with the work, but it did take three weeks which was a downside. I still returned for basic services. The last time I went, there was issues with the service coupon and it was more expensive than it should have been. I got it done anyways because I was tired of waiting. This time was the last straw. I only came in for an oil change. I made the appointment four days in advance for a $40 synthetic oil change. I couldn't pass that up because walmart isn't even that cheap. But this time I was not met with kindness from the moment I stepped in, and they became dismissive when I said all I wanted was the oil change. Then I reveive the text of the inspection report and to see what other services they say I have to have and are of utmost importance. The repairs totaled to over $1000 and I declined them all. I especially hate being bothered with a cabin and engine air filter replacement because they charge way too much for something so simple. Not only that, but they tried to charge me $100 for the oil change, thinking I wouldn't notice. This also took almost three hours on a weekday and I made sure to make an early appointment. I was able to get them to change the price. I know for a fact when I made the appointment the coupon said $40. My mistake for not taking a screenshot. They were able to change it to $50 because that's what it said on the website. My appointment confirmation says I scheduled with the coupon, but it doesn't say the price. How convenient for them. The fact that they can never honor it in the first place baffles me. I have not once felt a scrap of authentic kindness from the employees here. Typical predatory dealership behavior.
