AFFORDABLE auto

This is my second review. The first time we had them come out was great. Had them come to do more work , they came and could not do finish because the parts were wrong. Promised to come back the next day. My husband called and we both texted with no response. Did not hear back from them. I called them tonight and only got excuses and they hung up on me instead of trying to resolve the issues. All we wanted was our car finished. This has been very disappointing as we had plans this past weekend to go to the mountains in the car . They said it would be ready. Gave 1 star because it would not let me leave 0. ALSO True North Enterprise is the same company and they left a review on themselves to up their ranking.

Initial dealings with owner of business were good. However, in completion of my SUV repair a part needed to be ordered, I paid him for the work he had done and the part. He assured me that he would be back to put the part on the next day. I didn’t hear from him , so I called and he stated that my part would be in that Tuesday. I had to reach out to him on Tuesday and he stated that the part still was not in. I do understand that shipment of parts may not be in his control, but responding to a phone call or a text message is to provide a customer an update. However, since then he has not been answering any phone calls or responding to text messages. I have requested a refund of the part that I have not received. My honest advice would be :if the job is not COMPLETE, do not pay ANY labor charges until the job is completed. I understand that people can over extend themselves but not responding to a customer is never good, especially one who has paid. I am sorry for your loss, but please be truthful. The compressor was $278- it wasn’t going to be $1200 , I ordered it and cancelled it because you said that I may not need a compressor. I was going to replace the entire compressor. But none of that is neither here nor there, I just want my part or my $. And, you have addressed that. Thanks. Update 9/14/2021- no part , no refund received, nor update given regarding part. I have made a cash app request for refund on 2 occasions, My purpose in this update is not to do this business harm, but to get what I paid for. I didn’t hesitate to pay whatever price he quoted, I didn’t try to negotiate to get a lower price. I just simply want him to honor his word. So, if my review can help Someone else make a well informed decision - that’s good. Hopefully, the owner will do better with future customers.

The work was done in a timely manner at a fair price. I was up and running in no time. Good quality and great customer service. I will call on Affordable Roadside for future car repairs.
