Advanced Auto Recyclers Introduce
Advanced Auto Recyclers, located at 22800 Eight Mile W, Southfield, MI 48033, USA, functions primarily as an "auto parts store" specializing in the sale of used, recycled automotive components. While the category mentioned is "Auto Repair Stations," it's important to clarify that Advanced Auto Recyclers' core business is providing parts for sale, rather than performing repairs themselves. They serve as a crucial resource for individuals and repair shops looking for affordable replacement parts for various vehicle makes and models. You can reach them by phone at (248) 353-5353 or mobile at +1 248-353-5353.
The environment of Advanced Auto Recyclers, typical of an auto recycler or salvage yard, is centered around the dismantling and storage of vehicles to recover usable parts. This environment would primarily consist of a yard where salvaged vehicles are stored, often organized by make and model, and a warehouse or designated area for cataloged and stored parts. For customers, the interaction usually occurs at a counter or office where parts can be inquired about and purchased. The atmosphere is generally functional and geared towards efficient retrieval of components. Given the nature of recycled parts, customers should anticipate that parts will be used and may have some wear or minor imperfections. The key is transparency and accuracy in describing the condition of these parts, as highlighted by customer experiences.
The services offered by Advanced Auto Recyclers are centered around the acquisition, processing, and sale of used automotive parts. These services typically include:
- Used Auto Parts Sales: Their primary service involves selling a wide range of components salvaged from end-of-life vehicles. This can include:
- Body Panels: Doors, fenders, hoods, trunks, bumpers, and other exterior components. One review specifically mentions purchasing a "door and fender."
- Engine Components: Used engines, cylinder heads, alternators, starters, and other internal engine parts.
- Transmission Components: Used transmissions and related driveline parts.
- Interior Parts: Seats, dashboards, door panels, consoles, and other cabin components. One review, however, mentions an interior part with a "burn hole."
- Electrical Components: Wiring harnesses, modules, lights, and other electrical items.
- Suspension and Steering Components: Axles, control arms, steering racks, etc.
- Glass: Windshields, side windows, and rear windows.
- Vehicle Acquisition: They acquire salvage vehicles from auctions, insurance companies, and individuals, which forms the basis of their inventory.
- Part Inventory Management: Efficiently categorizing, storing, and tracking available parts to quickly locate them for customers.
As an "auto parts store," their business model relies on making these salvaged components readily available for purchase, providing a more economical alternative to new OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) or aftermarket parts.
Key features of Advanced Auto Recyclers, as gleaned from the provided customer feedback and the nature of their business, include:
- Cost-Effective Parts: The primary appeal of an auto recycler is the significantly lower price point for used parts compared to new ones, making repairs more affordable for vehicle owners.
- Inventory Availability: For older or less common vehicles, a salvage yard can often be the only source for specific parts that are no longer manufactured or are expensive when new.
- Environmental Benefit: By recycling auto parts, they contribute to environmental sustainability by reducing waste and the demand for new manufacturing.
- Customer Service Interaction: The reviews highlight mixed experiences. One positive review praises "Ali" for being "very helpful with the buying process" and notes "Fair pricing." This suggests that helpful staff can be a key feature, guiding customers through the process. However, a highly critical review mentions being "lied to" about part condition and receiving "wrong parts that aren't damaged," indicating inconsistency in product description and customer service.
- Part Condition Variation: A crucial feature of buying recycled parts is their inherent used condition. While some parts can be "in very good condition" as one customer found, others might have more damage than described, such as a "dent" or "burn hole," as noted by another customer.
Regarding promotional information, specific current promotions for Advanced Auto Recyclers are not publicly detailed in the provided information. However, typical promotional strategies for auto recycling businesses include:
- Online Part Search Databases: Many modern recyclers use online inventory systems that allow customers to search for parts from their homes, which acts as a powerful promotional tool.
- Competitive Pricing: Their inherent advantage is the lower cost of used parts, which is a constant promotional draw.
- Warranty on Parts: Some reputable recyclers offer limited warranties on their used parts, providing a degree of assurance to customers. This is a strong selling point.
- Targeted Advertising: Reaching out to local mechanics, body shops, and DIY enthusiasts who are frequent buyers of used parts.
- Word-of-Mouth Referrals: Positive customer experiences, like the one praising Ali and fair pricing, can generate valuable referrals.
- Online Listings: Listing their inventory on national or regional auto parts marketplaces.
The customer reviews for Advanced Auto Recyclers present a mixed picture. While one customer had a very positive experience, finding parts in good condition with helpful assistance and fair pricing, another reported significant issues with misrepresentation of part condition and receiving incorrect parts. This suggests that while Advanced Auto Recyclers can be a source for "very good condition" parts and offers the benefit of "fair pricing," prospective customers should exercise caution and diligence. It is highly advisable to personally inspect parts before purchase if possible, or to have a very clear understanding of their return policy, to mitigate risks associated with buying used components. For those in Southfield, MI, needing affordable used auto parts, contacting Advanced Auto Recyclers at (248) 353-5353 would be the initial step to inquire about availability and condition, keeping in mind the varied customer feedback.

Advanced Auto Recyclers Customer Reviews
This place is a joke they tell you parts are still on vehicle and in good condition with no damage they show up with them and not even what they said they are. one part was not even close to what I needed and the other part was dented more then a small dent like they said an interior part they tried giving me had a burn hole in it. Don't recommend going here unless you like being lied to or getting wrong parts that aren't damaged
