World Auto Body Repair Introduce

World Auto Body Repair, located at 7106 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby Township, PA 19082, USA, positions itself within the Auto Repair Stations category, specifically focusing on auto body and collision repair services. Its name clearly indicates a specialization in addressing vehicle damage related to accidents or other forms of bodywork.

The environment of World Auto Body Repair would be typical of a collision repair center. This usually includes a dedicated workshop area for bodywork, painting booths, and frame straightening equipment. The facility is expected to accommodate vehicles with varying degrees of damage, from minor dents to major structural repairs. As a business situated on a main road in Upper Darby Township, it aims to be accessible to vehicle owners in the surrounding residential and commercial areas. While a clean and organized facility is generally a standard expectation in such establishments, the provided customer feedback does not offer specific details about the physical appearance or ambiance of the shop, beyond the interactions customers had with staff.

The core services offered by World Auto Body Repair revolve around collision repair and related bodywork. Based on customer reviews, these services include, but are not limited to, windshield replacement and addressing body damage such as "small ding" in vehicle doors. This suggests their capabilities extend to both glass repair and cosmetic bodywork, as well as potentially more extensive collision repairs that would typically fall under the scope of an auto body shop. They would likely handle dent removal, paint repair and matching, bumper repair, and panel replacement, aiming to restore vehicles to their pre-accident condition. The business serves as a point of contact for individuals seeking to mend damage incurred through various incidents, from minor scrapes to more significant impacts.

However, the features and operational aspects of World Auto Body Repair, as depicted by customer feedback, are overwhelmingly negative. A significant concern is pricing transparency and integrity. One customer reported being "overcharged the windshield replacement cost," noting an additional $100 charge upon completion despite a reasonable initial quote over the phone. This lack of pricing adherence and the practice of demanding full payment before releasing the car key ("He will not give you the car key unless it is fully paid") are serious red flags for potential customers. Such practices contribute to a perception of being "ripped off" and can severely damage a business's reputation for honesty.

Another major feature highlighted by multiple reviews is extremely poor customer service, specifically concerning the owner's attitude. The owner is described as "a very nasty person" with a "horrible attitude" who "doesn't know how to speak to customers" and "acted like he didn't even want my business." This indicates a highly unwelcoming and unprofessional approach to client interactions. The experience of being quoted an "absolutely outrages quote" ($900 for a "small ding in passenger door") and then having the owner "just walked away" when another problem was brought up, paints a picture of disinterest and disrespect towards potential clients. This suggests a complete breakdown in fundamental customer service principles, which are crucial for any service-oriented business, especially in a field where trust and clear communication are paramount.

The combination of unexpected price increases and severe customer service issues makes it difficult for potential customers to approach World Auto Body Repair with confidence. While the business purports to offer necessary auto body services, the described operational practices and interpersonal conduct significantly detract from its perceived value and reliability. In an industry that often deals with stressful situations for customers (e.g., car accidents), a lack of empathy and transparent dealings can lead to considerable dissatisfaction.

In terms of promotional information, there is no positive promotional content available from the provided reviews. Any direct marketing World Auto Body Repair might undertake would likely focus on its services (auto body, collision repair, windshield replacement) and its location in Upper Darby Township. However, given the overwhelmingly negative public sentiment, such promotions would likely be overshadowed by online reviews and word-of-mouth warnings. For a business with such strong negative feedback regarding owner behavior, pricing practices, and customer treatment, the most impactful "promotion" would be negative referrals, advising potential customers to avoid the shop. The reviews strongly recommend against visiting, with explicit warnings like "Do not go to this shop" and "please don't waste your time or money here!!!!" These unsolicited customer testimonials effectively act as a strong deterrent, actively discouraging new business regardless of any formal promotional efforts the shop might attempt.

Be aware of this shop. Overcharged the windshield replacement cost. He first quoted at reasonable price over the phone but charged me an additional $100 when the work is completed. He will not give you the car key unless it is fully paid. He ripped me off.

I don't even want to give this place any stars at all. Worst customer service ever. The owner is a very nasty person and he doesn't know how to speak to customers. Horrible attitude. He acted like he didn't even want my business. I have a small ding in passenger door he quoted me $900. Absolutely outrages quote. I had another problem I wanted to look at but he just walked away. Do not go to this shop. Owner is horrible.

Best Customer Service. I've been taking my car here since they opened and have not had a bad experience. They do quality work and I've learned a lot about my car. I highly recommend them to anyone.

At first they told me it will be done in 30 minutes but it took more than a hour to do state inspection. Also, it costs 70 dollars for the PA state inspection, way too expensive ! so unfriendly and not professional at all. I do not recommend this place to anyone!!!
