I took my parents’ 2008 BMW X3 to Woodlawn Garage after getting an outrageous $5,000+ repair quote from my usual BMW dealer on the Main Line. A close friend, whose family has been going to Woodlawn for over a decade, recommended them—and they didn’t disappoint! The team at Woodlawn was refreshingly honest. While they confirmed the issues the dealer pointed out, they told me the repairs weren’t urgent and didn’t need to be addressed right away. Instead of pushing for unnecessary fixes, they advised me to bring the car back when the problems actually needed attention. I walked in expecting a hefty bill but left without paying for anything because, at this point, no work was needed! Let’s be honest, anyone else (like my BMW dealer) would have told me to repair it immediately. Woodlawn Garage proved their honesty and integrity. They say you need three things in life: a good friend, a good barber, and a good mechanic. Well, I found my mechanic! Highly recommend Woodlawn Garage.

I had an issue with my oil pan and transmission due to a Philly pothole. I took my vehicle to a OM dealership for a quote on repairs, the dealership prices were unbelievably high. I had to look for more reasonable prices, that's when I came across Woodlawn Garage, I gave them a call and scheduled an appointment with no issues. Dropped off my car and got it back within a day. Exceptional and friendly service would recommend!

When incognito auto repair went out of business I needed a place to take my cars. A friend suggested Woodlawn. Jack and John, the two brothers who own the place are great and friendly. When you go in you will see tons of really fancy cars being worked on so you know there's a lot of people who trust them.

We’ve had our older BMW X3 serviced twice at Woodlawn Foreign Car Service. First visit for a diagnostic inspection and oil change. Subsequent visit for a window motor repair. We were charged a fair price for both services. I was surprised to learn from Jack that during the oil change service a thorough inspection of the vehicle is performed. I appreciate that, as it would be helpful to learn of any current or potential issues with your car before they become a major repair job or safety problem. I highly Recommend Woodlawn Garage for your BMW’s repairs and other maintenance services.

I trust these guys with my life, after all, isn't that what what you do when you allow someone to work on your car?! As a European car enthusiast that has done most of the work on their own cars for over 20 years, from simple maintenance to an entire motor swap, I am very particular about who touches my vehicles. Once I moved to Center City Philadelphia I no longer had the space, time, or desire to do the work myself. Woodlawn Garage came highly recommended to me from a friend with similar interest and experience with their own cars, and I couldn't agree more. They are straight shooters with a large repeat client base that have no interest upselling you on unnecessary work. They are conscientious and will keep you apprised of any pending issues, whether they should be tended to immediately for safety sake or ok to put off a while on a seldom driven vehicle. They charge a fair rate for their experience level and appropriate amount of time for the work. Only great experiences here.
