Pete and Rick are the best. Honest, kind, patient, respectful, and knowledgeable. They explain things beautifully and are thorough in their work. They are sensitive to cost, and let me know that I could delay an expensive repair and how to know when it couldn't be delayed any longer. They gave me a ride home when I dropped off the car (I live pretty close), and later helped direct traffic when I was exiting the driveway. They put a smile on my face at a time that could have been stressful. UPDATE: I can't really recommend this shop after all. At the time of my visit, Pete explained that I would need a tune-up soon, with new spark plugs and coils. I asked if I shouldn't just do it right away. He said no. I asked how I would know when I needed to do it. He said the car would start to shudder a bit at idle and the check-engine light would come on. Well, three weeks after my service, the car began to act up in a much more drastic way, suddenly shaking violently when I was driving slowly. I pulled over and called Monte & Sons. They couldn't take the car for another week, so I called my dealership. I had the car towed there. Well, I got a call this morning to say that when Monte & Sons checked the coils, they didn't tighten a bolt, and a coil was falling out of its place. This suggests a kind of carelessness that is dangerous.

These guys are just the best. Every time I go in to get something fixed, they bring a smile to my face. First off, their office is fantastic. Everyone is friendly and there's always some great vintage TV show playing. They're honest, do really good work, are well-priced, and seem to be wonderful neighbors. The last time I was in, their elderly neighbor across the street needed help with their recycling and Rick raced over to help and knew him by name. I'm a customer for life!

I’ve been going to Monte and Sons for the past 3 years with no regrets. Pete and Rick!!! They’re pretty much my uncles now! They kept my old van (2005 Chrysler town in country) alive way past its life expectancy! RIP Lucious the Van) by giving me neat tips and tricks on now to keep the old guy running. So thoughtful and informative! I recommend them to all of my friends ✨

I had a wonderful experience at Monte & Sons Auto Repair this morning! From the moment I made the phone call to the completion of the service, everything was handled with care and professionalism. The staff took the time to thoroughly explain everything to me, making sure I understood what needed to be done and why. Monte and Sons is the best mechanic shop I’ve gone to. The brothers are such sincere and stand up guys; they tell you exactly what is wrong and work at it until they resolve it. I’ve been going here for years and I wouldn’t go any place else. A true Germantown gem!!
