What Ever It Takes Transmission Parts - Phoenix, AZ Introduce
What Ever It Takes Transmission Parts, located at 3912 E Roeser Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85040, is a highly specialized business operating within the broader Auto Repair Stations platform category, though its primary function is as an auto parts store focusing exclusively on transmission and related drivetrain components. This establishment serves a niche but critical role for mechanics, repair shops, and DIY enthusiasts who require specific parts for transmission rebuilds, repairs, and maintenance. As with any supplier, understanding their offerings, operational environment, and customer experiences is crucial for local users in the Phoenix, AZ area.
The environment at What Ever It Takes Transmission Parts, as gleaned from customer feedback, presents a mixed picture. One review describes a negative experience at the counter, highlighting a lack of apology and a "horrible attitude" from a staff member. This suggests that the customer service environment can, at times, be less than welcoming or professional. However, another review paints a very positive picture, praising the "best experience" and noting that the staff "knew everything down to the detail." This indicates that while there might be inconsistencies, the potential for a highly knowledgeable and helpful interaction exists. As a parts store, the physical environment would typically be focused on efficient warehousing and retrieval of a vast inventory of specialized components, with a counter for customer interaction. The impression is that the efficiency and knowledge of the staff are key variables in the customer's overall experience, rather than the physical amenities of the store.
What Ever It Takes Transmission Parts specializes in providing a comprehensive range of services and goods related to automotive transmissions and transfer cases. Their primary offering is the sale of:
- Transmission Parts: This includes a vast array of components necessary for repairing or rebuilding automatic and manual transmissions. This could encompass internal components like clutches, bands, valves, solenoids, gears, and shafts.
- Overhaul Kits: These are comprehensive kits designed to provide all the necessary gaskets, seals, and small components needed for a full transmission rebuild. The specific mention of an "overhaul kit for an RE0F10A" (a common CVT transmission) highlights their capability to supply parts for various transmission types.
- Transfer Case Kits: These kits contain the parts needed for repairing or rebuilding the transfer case, a crucial component in four-wheel-drive vehicles.
- Converters: They also likely supply torque converters, which are essential parts of automatic transmissions.
- Rebuild Kits: Beyond overhaul kits, they offer specific rebuild kits that may include hard parts or other major components needed for a full transmission restoration.
Their online presence, specifically their main website, indicates a broader range of products beyond just kits, including individual parts for various transmission makes and models (e.g., GM, Ford, Chrysler, Honda, Nissan, Toyota, BMW, Audi, etc.). They claim to be an "industry veteran in the transmission parts supply business" and a "full-service manufacturer that keeps everything in-house," suggesting they produce some of their own parts or have close control over their supply chain to ensure quality and availability.
The features of What Ever It Takes Transmission Parts are strongly defined by their product specialization and, at times, their customer interaction. A significant feature is their extensive and specialized inventory focusing solely on transmission and transfer case components. This specialization means they are likely to have obscure or hard-to-find parts that general auto parts stores might not carry, making them a go-to source for transmission specialists. The positive review explicitly states, "If you need it they have it," and praises their detailed knowledge of the kits, suggesting that when the inventory is accurate, their expertise is invaluable. However, a critical counter-feature, as evidenced by the negative review, is a potential inconsistency in inventory accuracy and customer service. The experience of being told a part was in stock only to arrive after a 60-mile drive and find it unavailable, coupled with an unhelpful attitude, points to significant operational shortcomings in communication and stock management. This highlights a crucial area for improvement to ensure a consistently positive customer experience. Despite this, their claimed position as a "full-service manufacturer" and their ability to supply "high quality parts" suggest an underlying commitment to product quality, even if service delivery can be inconsistent.
For promotional information, What Ever It Takes Transmission Parts primarily relies on its specialized offerings and its established presence within the transmission parts industry. While the provided reviews do not detail specific marketing campaigns or discounts, the very fact that they are a dedicated transmission parts supplier is a strong draw for a specific clientele. Their phone numbers, (602) 675-3081 and +1 602-675-3081, serve as direct access points for customers. Their website, "wittrans.com," also features a "Part Lookup" tool, allowing customers to search for specific transmission components by make, model, and year, which is a valuable resource. They also maintain a YouTube channel with "video teardown and reassembly of a Nissan RE0F10A (JF011E) transmission," providing technical assistance and showcasing their expertise, which acts as a promotional tool for their knowledge and product quality. Their broad reach, including an eBay store and presence on Amazon, further expands their market visibility. However, to effectively promote their services, consistent customer service and accurate inventory management would be key to leveraging positive word-of-mouth and building a universally strong reputation within the local Phoenix automotive community.

What Ever It Takes Transmission Parts - Phoenix, AZ Customer Reviews
Horrible customer service!!! I called prior to arriving since I live 60 miles away. I needed an overhaul kit for an RE0F10A and they told me it was in stock so I made the trip. When I arrived, I talked to a white guy at the counter and asked him for the overhaul kit for transmission. First words out his mouth "RE0F10A doesn't exist, there is no such transmission." Anyone that rebuilds transmissions knows this is a very common cvt transmission. After looking it up on the computer realized that he was wrong. Didn't apologize, he had a horrible attitude the whole time. After all that, it turns out they didn't have the kit in stock! This is the first time I been here and I will never go back. Terrible customer service and can't keep accurate inventory. I would recommend going elsewhere, there is plenty other suppliers in the Phoenix area.
