Wayne County Ford Parts Introduce

Welcome to Wayne County Ford Parts, located at 971 Texas Palmyra Hwy, Honesdale, PA 18431, USA. Operating within the platform category of Auto Repair Stations, Wayne County Ford Parts primarily functions as a supplier of Ford automotive parts to local users in Honesdale, PA, and the surrounding areas. While the name emphasizes parts, it's important to note that dealerships often have service departments as well, and the provided customer reviews shed light on experiences with their service rather than their parts sales. This introduction aims to provide an objective overview based on the available customer feedback, focusing on what local users should be aware of when considering Wayne County Ford, both for parts and potential service needs.

For local residents and repair shops seeking genuine Ford auto parts, Wayne County Ford Parts can be contacted by phone at (570) 253-2800 or via mobile phone at +1 570-253-2800. Having direct contact with a local Ford parts supplier can be advantageous for ensuring the correct fit and quality of components for Ford vehicles. Customers can inquire about parts availability, pricing, and potentially place orders through these contact numbers. While the primary focus of this introduction, based on the category, is on parts, the customer reviews necessitate a discussion of their service department as well.

Information regarding the specific environment of Wayne County Ford Parts as it pertains to parts sales is not detailed in the provided reviews. Typically, an auto parts department within a dealership would include a counter area where customers can speak with parts specialists, catalogs or computer systems to look up specific parts based on vehicle identification numbers (VIN), and a storage area or warehouse to stock the inventory of Ford parts. The environment would likely be organized to efficiently locate and retrieve parts for customers, whether they are individual vehicle owners or professional mechanics.

As the name suggests, the primary offering of Wayne County Ford Parts is the sale of new, genuine Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Ford auto parts. Dealership parts departments are typically the best source for these OEM components, ensuring compatibility and maintaining the manufacturer's warranty. Local users who prefer to use authentic Ford parts for their vehicle repairs or maintenance would likely find Wayne County Ford Parts to be a key resource. The availability of knowledgeable staff who can assist in identifying the correct parts is a significant feature of dealership parts departments.

However, the provided customer reviews do not directly comment on the parts department. Instead, they focus entirely on negative experiences with the service department at Wayne County Ford. One reviewer details a severe misdiagnosis of a wheel bearing issue, which was dismissed as "fine" before a 1200-mile trip, only to have both front bearings seize up during the journey, creating a dangerous situation. This review strongly advises against having vehicles serviced at this location, citing a lack of квалификация among the "quick lane guys" and a dismissive attitude from the service manager. This raises serious concerns about the reliability and competence of their service department.

The second review describes an issue with a "Quick Lane Oil Change" where the customer's Ford Points were used without authorization to pay for additional services (wiper and air filter replacement) that were allegedly not approved. The customer felt "completely taken advantage of" and accused the dealership of being "only out for a money making scheme." This incident points to potential issues with transparency, communication, and ethical billing practices within their service department. These two reviews, while not directly about parts sales, are crucial for local users to consider as they reflect on the overall customer experience at Wayne County Ford.

Given the nature of the provided feedback, it is difficult to ascertain positive features of the parts department. However, generally, a good dealership parts department would offer: accurate parts identification, competitive pricing on OEM parts, efficient order processing, and potentially the ability to order parts not currently in stock. Whether Wayne County Ford Parts excels in these areas cannot be determined from the given reviews.

Similarly, no promotional information specifically related to the parts department is available in the reviews. Auto parts stores, including dealership parts departments, might offer discounts on specific parts, seasonal promotions on maintenance items, or loyalty programs for frequent customers. Local users interested in potential parts promotions at Wayne County Ford Parts would need to contact them directly to inquire about any current offers.

In conclusion, Wayne County Ford Parts in Honesdale, PA, is an Auto Repair Station that primarily functions as a supplier of genuine Ford auto parts. While no direct feedback is provided on the parts department itself, the two customer reviews detail significant negative experiences with their service department, involving misdiagnosis leading to a dangerous vehicle failure and unauthorized charges during an oil change. For local users seeking Ford auto parts, Wayne County Ford Parts is a local source for OEM components. However, the serious concerns raised about their service department's competence and ethical practices should give potential customers pause if they are also considering vehicle service at this location. It would be prudent for local users to exercise caution and perhaps seek additional reviews or testimonials specifically regarding the parts department before making a decision. If considering service, the provided reviews strongly suggest proceeding with extreme caution and potentially seeking alternative service providers.

As an Auto Repair Station in Honesdale, PA, Wayne County Ford Parts is positioned to provide genuine Ford parts to the local community. However, the overwhelmingly negative feedback regarding their service department cannot be ignored by local users. When considering purchasing parts, it may be wise to inquire about return policies, parts warranties, and the knowledge level of the parts staff. For service needs, the provided reviews serve as stark warnings about potential issues with diagnostic accuracy and billing practices.

Local Ford owners in Honesdale, PA, seeking genuine OEM parts from Wayne County Ford Parts should be aware that the available customer feedback pertains solely to negative service experiences. While the parts department may operate independently and provide satisfactory service, the overall customer sentiment expressed in the reviews is concerning. It would be advisable for potential parts customers to conduct their own due diligence, perhaps by contacting the parts department directly with specific inquiries and assessing their responsiveness and professionalism. The negative service reviews should, at a minimum, prompt careful consideration before entrusting vehicle service to this dealership.

Wayne County Ford Parts Customer Reviews

DO NOT HAVE YOUR VEHICLE serviced here. I brought my sons wheel chair van in for an oil change and for an intermittent noise in the from drivers side. I told them it sounded like could be the bearing. They did the oil change and told me the bearing was fine. I told them I had a 1200 mile trip and needed to be sure it was save. They said yes. Low and behold today I’m going down the Rocky Mountains in SC and both front bearings seized up. This could have killed us! A wonderful dealership here in NC replaced everything. I called Wayne county ford Service manager and he said their quick lane guys are just techs and wouldn’t know! Are you F’ing kidding me!!!! They should have said we aren’t qualified you need to make an appointment with the “other side” and I would have. They presented themselves so confident that it was fine! The manager was as so flippant about it like he should have known better that they weren’t qualified! Thank God I’m moving and will never go there again!

Husband went in for a Quick Lane Oil Change and wanted to use our Ford Points (which we had more than enough for 2 oil changes) and was totally taken advantage of! They changed all the wipers and the air filter without authorization and not only used all our points but we also had to pay out of pocket! When I called and inquired, I was told that my husband said to "Do whatever needs to be done" which is the furthest thing from the truth! NEVER would we pay $70 to have windsheild wipers replaced, especially when we literally replaced them ourselves just a couple months prior!!!!!! Completely got the brush off and will be taking this to a higher level for sure! Completely taking advantage and only out for a money making scheme!!!!

I am on vacation and not from the area. I called and spoke with a kind lady who told me they could service my vehicle. I arrived close to their posted closing hours and they still took care of me. Kind staff. Great experience.
