I took my car to the Goodyear in Waterford for a simple tire repair due to a nail, which they fixed. However, when I picked up the car, I was informed that my brakes were in unsafe condition and needed immediate replacement. This felt suspicious since I had just replaced my brakes under warranty a few months ago. To be sure, I brought my car back to the dealership for a second opinion, and they confirmed that my brake pads and rotors still had 75% life remaining. I was disappointed by the inaccurate and potentially unnecessary recommendation at Goodyear. If you’re told you need new brakes here, I strongly advise getting a second opinion before proceeding. I won’t be returning due to this experience.

Truly an amazing place! They are friendly and kind here. Treating me like a person not just a girl who knows nothing. This place was clean and I felt comfortable sitting and waiting. They guys here work fast to get me out of here. Thank you!

Great experience today. Took my son for his first oil change they took the time to explain everything to him, offered us water and coffee and never pressured us for anything. Definitely will be going back.

Good people my first time there was a great experience. I had them give me an oil change and I bought some new tires for my trail boss. Definitely a reasonable price II will be going back for sure.

I would give zero stars if i could. A few months ago, i stopped in for an oil change. $650 later, i apparently needed new front brakes and rotors. I’m young and don’t know a lot about cars and I was just starting a new job a few days later so I paid the money. Usually, I would have had a trusted mechanic with 30+ years of experience look at my car but I panicked and had Goodyear fix it. I had bought my car used just over a year ago and the brakes and rotors were replaced then, again, I didn’t know any better. Turns out they never even did the oil change I went in for either. Come last week, my brakes start making noise again. I look at the paperwork they gave me last time and notice the warranty on the parts. I’m thinking it’s the front brakes making noise again and bring it back up there only because of the warranty. They tell me it’s my back brakes and drums. They say that the “drums are eating the brakes completely.” And quote me $620 to fix it. My trusted mechanic is available so I tell him what’s up, i buy the parts, and bring the car to him. He looks at it, clears the dust off the drums, and they are completely fine. The shoes have the same thickness as the brand new ones out of the box. The drum is completely fine, just dusty. This shop scams people out of money, scams those who don’t know any better, scams people because they can get away with it and make a quick buck. SHAME ON YOU!

The price was fine but the service was not. But i am sure this place is a scam as that is what it felt like dealing with them. That is the TLDR Now for the longer story. If I had to summerize my issues with them it comes down to poor communication. So I walked in for an oil change and left with a brake job, new tires, and a stabilizer bar for a $1500 bill. I really didnt want to do all that at that time but they would not let me leave with my car. Sure the stabilizer bar was what "forced" them to keep my car but that was not well explained to me at all. They offered me a ride home and that was a bust as the person they had said "I am not your uber driver" and drove off leaving me stranded there until I got a ride myself after already waiting for hours on the repair just to learn it needed more time. Then they called me early when they said my car was done so I waited there even longer when i went to pick it up. To top things off I then had 3 dashboard light come on when I picked up my car and faulty sensors (which were fine when I brought the car in). Of course in classic fashion they tried to sell me on new sensors. The sad thing is they then tried saying I brought it in with those lights on when that was clearly not the case and not the reason why I brought the car in to begin with. This whole experience I just felt utterly defeated and baffled at the experience and poor customer service.

I took my daughters 2016 Honda Civic here on 4-3-25. The power steering suddenly stopped working and it has the electronic power steering on it. About four hours after dropping it off they called stating that it needed a new rack and pinion which would cost $3500 plus $1200 labor and they would have to replace the wheel positioning sensor as well. Or they could get me a used rack and pinion from the junk yard for $1200 to “help me out”. Or since he also buys and sells cars he would be willing to buy it from me if I didn’t want to put that much money into it. I immediately went and picked the car up and took it to page Honda. Page Honda called after inspecting it and informed me that it was nothing more than a broken wire to the electronic power steering. I asked about the rack and pinion and they said they had two mechanics look at it and there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. They repaired the broken wire and reprogrammed the wheel positioning sensor and had me pick up the car. Waterford auto repair will rip you off.they tried to get me to pay $5000 and all they had to do was reconnect a wire. When i confronted them about it and asked them and showed them the photo of the broken wire and asked if they would like to see the report from Honda or we could call Honda their reply was no we believe Honda.when I informed them that I would be reporting them. He then became apologetic and told me that he just trying to make money. Waterford auto repair will scam you. Go anywhere else!!!
