Walmart Auto Care Centers

I watched an attendant walk past me twice and handle a customers entire tire order before ever greeting me. When I was finally addressed, I was told there were 2 ahead of me with my 8 a.m. appointment time. I was told the walk ins (including the one she had just taken) were to be handled before my appointment. The woman attendant at the register in the Auto Canter lacked professionalism and seemed argumentative rather than explanatory and accommodating. I inquired about the wait time among other things. When her explanations were questioned, I was told I could talk to the manager. The manager and one other person were the only ones I seen in the garage. The oil change attendant was reading a manual which was kind of concerning. I received at text that the car was taken in at 8:15 (guess the attendant in the inside was incorrect). I had accidentally made the appointment at this location and usually have my car service at the Boiling Springs location. That's where I will continue to go after this horrible experience. It is now 9:49 and I am still waiting for the installation of my 4 tires to be completed. UPDATE The manager who completed tire installation on my vehicle checked me out after the service was complete. She was very professional and polite! She apologized for how long the service took. Also, the other male attendant in the Auto Center was also professional and polite when I inquired about my service being complete.

So I scheduled an appointment on a Sunday at 7:30 AM. I arrive at the store only to see that the automotive center doesn’t even open till 8 AM. So I found one of the representatives in the dept and she says oh we don’t have anybody in, Walk around the store and come back around 8am. So I did my shopping, walked back to the automotive center at 8 AM, only to be told that they wouldn’t have somebody there till 10 AM. So I asked could I go ahead and check in and just leave my car there so that when they arrive I will be the first person to get my oil changed. She says no I can’t do anything because it’s not two people back here. That puzzled me. Because I’m not asking you to go change my oil, I’m asking for you to check me into a computer that you have access to so that when your mechanic arrives, I will still be first in line. I feel like everything just started off wrong. The overall experience was terrible.

It took 3 hours for an oil change!! There were people with appointments that waited 1 hour and a half for theirs to be changed and one guy had a tire rotation in which they got grease all in his car. The customer service really doesn’t care about any inconveniences. They are constantly under staffed and top it all off they didn’t open until after 8am. You better going to the Westgate location Walmart than the one on East Main St. HOT TRASH!!!

Never again. Practically ruined my engine with an oil change. My car does not run the same at all. The manager offered to pay 100.00 for a diagnostic which costs about 30.00 more and then retracted that offer when I called corporate. Do not go there for an oil change, I am not the only one who has had this experience with a simple oil change. They apologized saying it was a defective oil ring. Every time I pressed the gas oil was shooting out of the car according to them. So less than 24 hours passed before I was back with the oil light on and a clanking engine. The car cut off every time I stopped trying to get back to Walmart. I finally had to coast there because I couldn't press the gas without the engine rattling loudly. My engine was almost gone from a simple oil change and as I stated previously it doesn't run the same. I will NEVER forgive or forget this incident or the manager.

Came here and supplied my own oil for my oil change on my truck they got me in right before they closed staff went above and beyond was extremely friendly helpful did a excellent job! Went above and beyond I highly recommend this location and the staff as they were extremely accommodating and took care of my vehicle and did everything right which I appreciate highly recommend this Auto Care center.

I went in because I had a nail in my tire. They said they fixed the problem and only charged me like $15. The next morning my tire was low. When I looked, I saw the nail was still there. Don’t go here. Pay the extra $5-$10 and take it to a different place where you’ll have a better chance of actually getting the work done you’ve paid for.
