We were in town visiting relatives for Thanksgiving. We purchased a used car a few days prior to driving to Michigan from Kentucky. Oh tree car was making a horrible noise and it got worse the farther we drove. We called Vek’s the day before Thanksgiving. Ron told us they were booked. I told him our story. I heard him tell someone in the background. The guy said , “Have him drop it off. I’ll fit it in.” So we did. Steve had us back on the road in less than 5 hours. To us that was wonderful!!! And, the cost of repair was significantly less than what we expected!!! I will from now on only bring our vehicles here. I highly recommend Vek’s Auto Service to all of you!!!! I wish they were in my town in Kentucky!!! Thank you Ton and Steve!!!!

A few years ago, when they first opened, their prices were reasonable. Now, they’re charging three times as much! All their parts are ridiculously overpriced, like 3 times more expensive! They claim the labor is cheap, but the parts cost way more than, for example, AutoZone. I paid $1000 just for a brake change on a regular 2021 Nissan Altima. This is outrageous!

Our son had an issue with his power steering line and it needed to be replaced. We found out later Vek’s cut out the power steering line and replaced it with a rubber hose and zip ties instead replacing the lines correctly. Needless to say we had an issue a year later and had to replace the lines correctly. We will not use Vek’s again. They are not what they used to be.

I went to Vek's for many years taking multiple family vehicles to Harry. I did that because not only are they good at what they do, but Harry was always honest and gave a fair deal. He didn't try to pad the pricing to make an extra buck, he just gave a fair price for the job. I was there again today and received the same kind of service. I don't want a shop that just automatically throws my truck on a diag machine and charges me $85 for just that alone - I want a shop with a real mechanic - one that has years of experience and has the eyes & ears to figure out what is going on after driving my truck to feel and listen to it. That is what I received today - I will continue taking all of our vehicles there.

I have taken multiple vehicles to Vek's and every time they have done a fantastic job. They have diagnosed issues in 30 minutes that Belle Tire told me they couldn't figure out after having my vehicle all day. I would trust these wonderful folks with any of my vehicles for anything. They are reasonably priced, fast, reliable and WAY better than going to any of the dealerships. Highly recommended!
