Valvoline Instant Oil Change

Was in town from Texas. I had some time and needed an oil change. I stopped in and had the oil and rear differential serviced. Everyone here was friendly, professional and just downright nice. The whole place moves like a NASCAR pit crew. They really do. My hat is off to the manager here. Everyone not only treats customers properly, they also treat each other with respect. At least what I saw on my visit. Rene and Andre were the staff members that helped me. Again, great experience with both of them. Prices were on par with shops local and in Texas. Bottom line is you’ll pay about 2x as much compared to if you do it yourself. That’s just the way it is. Since I was pretty far from home, doing it myself was not an option. I would recommend this place to a friend. That’s the ultimate compliment I can give.

You pay for quality. The technicians at this location are always very pleasant and accommodating. They're one of the few mechanics in the high desert who do not belittle women. With respect and appreciation, I would like to thank you for a job well done. Thank you! I highly recommend giving this location a chance to prove their worth to you as well.

I'm an aircraft mechanic by trade and always do my own service. Sold my house so while I was without a garage I took my Explorer to Valvoline for an oil change. Fast forward to today. I remove the drain plug and immediately notice it's been overtightened. The threads are visibly stretched near the bolt head (see photo, more obvious in person though). The oil filter is also considerably smaller than the factory filter. It is approved for my vehicle on Valvoline's website. I think the oil pan can be salvaged. Moral of the story is find a mechanic you trust, or BE the mechanic you trust.

Major disappointment! After a third person referred me to this place I decided to give it a try. Service WAS fast, multi point inspection and affordable. The staff was cool, helpful and pretty knowledgeable. They also offer discount coupons from what I hear. Now for the bad; they have one job to do here, one job and one job only and that's oil changes, how do you mess that up? I drive 2 miles back home and park my vehicle in the driveway, I wake up the next morning and I notice oil everywhere. I open the hood and see a mess, I look under the vehicle and there's oil everywhere. While the hood is open I check the brake fluid, coolant and windshield fluid all of which they said they inspected and topped off which they didn't. I check the oil to make sure my car is safe to drive and I see that it's already black, in only a two mile drive, which doesn't happen.. ¡¡¡AND TO MAKE THINGS WORSE MY ENGINE IS NOW TICKING WHICH IS NOT A GOOD SIGHT!!! Anyway, drove back to Valvoline, they removed, inspected and reinstalled the oil filter now I'm waiting to set off it continues to leak. Now I'm going back to Valvoline for a third time and I can guarantee you they won't help at all with the ending ticking. I know cars and it's a very bad sight when your engine ticks after an oil change... Disappointed to say the least. Like I said the staff was cool, helpful and understanding, also I understand we all make mistakes but come on, you have one job.

Great place for an oil change. I like that you can sit in your vehicle and they show you the oil and or cabin air filters things like that. Jose was the best! Very nice guy. Pretty quick service as well. They'll also let you know if you need any other service done.

I appreciate the amount of time it takes to do an oil change at my location while sitting in my car. I appreciate the fact that they show me any extras that need to be done and why, and that they are kind and professional.
