Truck Equipment Inc. Introduce

Located at 7202 Zinser St, Schofield, WI 54476, USA, Truck Equipment Inc. operates as a specialized "Auto Repair Station" catering primarily to heavy-duty trucks and trailers. Unlike a typical passenger vehicle repair shop, this establishment focuses on the more robust and complex needs of commercial vehicles, including semi-trucks, trailers, and specialized truck equipment. Their service model encompasses both repairs and the sale of corresponding goods, making them a significant resource for the trucking industry and businesses relying on heavy machinery in the Schofield area.

The environment at Truck Equipment Inc. is characteristic of a heavy-duty repair facility. It is equipped to handle large vehicles, suggesting spacious service bays and specialized equipment necessary for working on trucks and trailers, including reefers. While no specific details on customer waiting areas or office aesthetics are provided, the operational focus would be on functionality and efficiency in managing commercial vehicle repairs. A facility of this nature would typically have a parts department on-site, offering a range of components essential for the types of repairs they undertake. The overall atmosphere would be geared towards industrial and commercial clients, prioritizing rapid turnaround times for fleet operations to minimize downtime.

Truck Equipment Inc. offers a comprehensive suite of services and goods tailored to the heavy-duty automotive sector. Their expertise spans various aspects of truck and trailer maintenance and repair. Key services include, but are not limited to, general truck and trailer repair, which covers mechanical issues, electrical systems, and routine maintenance. A significant area of specialization is "Reefer Trailer Repair," addressing the complex refrigeration units essential for temperature-controlled transport. This includes diagnosing and fixing leaks, addressing cooling system malfunctions, and ensuring the integrity of the insulated trailer body. They also boast a "Complete Body Shop," capable of handling damage to truck cabs and trailer bodies, implying services such as dent repair, painting, and structural corrections. Furthermore, they are equipped for "Hydraulic System Diagnosis and Troubleshooting," encompassing repairs and maintenance of hydraulic components like pumps, motors, cylinders, and valves, and even offering "Custom Hydraulic Solutions" and "Hydraulic System Upgrades." This indicates a high level of technical capability for specialized equipment. They also offer "Frame Straightening, Repair, and Lengthening," crucial for accident damage or modifications to vehicle chassis. Beyond these, services extend to fan clutches, oil changes, electrical and lighting repairs, custom welding, and the fabrication of custom toolboxes. They provide "Brake Shoe Relining" and "Complete Trailer Restoration," indicating a comprehensive approach to fleet upkeep. In terms of goods, Truck Equipment Inc. likely maintains a "Fully Stocked Parts Department" to support their repair services, offering both OEM and aftermarket parts for trucks and trailers. They are also noted as a "Stoughton trailer dealer," and deal in "Used Tractors (wholesale and retail)" and "New and Used Semi-Trailers." They are also listed as an NTEA Distributor Member, suggesting they supply truck equipment and products from various manufacturers.

The features of Truck Equipment Inc. revolve around its specialization and capability in heavy-duty vehicle maintenance. They advertise "12 Service bays capable of handling 53' trailers," demonstrating their capacity to service large commercial vehicles efficiently. Their team is comprised of "highly trained and experienced technicians with a proven track record," and they utilize "State-of-the-Art Equipment" for accurate diagnostics and precise repairs. The company emphasizes the use of "Quality Parts and Materials" to ensure lasting performance and reliability. A notable feature is their ability to undertake "the projects that other shops won't," suggesting a willingness to tackle complex or challenging repairs. They also offer "Free Estimates" for body shop work and insurance work, which can be a valuable service for commercial operators dealing with vehicle damage. Their "Timely and Efficient Service" is highlighted, recognizing the critical importance of minimizing downtime for commercial fleets. However, it's important to consider customer feedback when evaluating features. While one customer praised their speed in pulling a reefer trailer in and fixing a leak in "short order" with a "great deal," another experienced "very poor workmanship" on reefer repairs, noting "total hack job" and damage to previously undamaged areas. This review also pointed out a "huge lack of communication" and a shop foreman who lacked the "decency" to inform the customer of issues. This suggests variability in customer experience, particularly concerning workmanship and communication, which are critical features for any repair service.

Specific promotional information from Truck Equipment Inc. is not extensively detailed. However, their core business model and advertised capabilities can be considered promotional elements. The promise of "Timely and Efficient Service" and tackling "projects that other shops won't" are inherent draws for commercial clients seeking reliable and comprehensive solutions. The mention of "Free Estimates" for certain services also acts as a promotional offer, encouraging potential customers to seek quotes without obligation. Being a dealer for Stoughton trailers and offering new and used equipment also positions them as a holistic provider for trucking businesses. Given the nature of heavy-duty repair, recurring business often comes from established relationships and a reputation for quality and efficiency. For the most current offerings and to inquire about specific services or parts, local users can contact Truck Equipment Inc. directly at (715) 355-0701 or +1 715-355-0701. Their operating hours are typically Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, at their Wausau/Schofield location.

Truck Equipment Inc. Customer Reviews

Very poor workmanship on my reefer repairs. Total hack job. They actually damaged several places that weren't damaged initially. And the shop forman didn't even have the decency to tell me but rather he just let me notice it in my own. Also through the whole experience there was a huge lack of communication on their part.Stay away if you have nice equipment that you care about.

Had Truck Equipment do alot of suspension and differential work. They fixed brakes and even helped with a leaking fuel line issue. Great price for all the work that was done. Easy to deal with. No drama.

Not happy. They said they ordered parts then they said they were back ordered. Two months later no parts. Couldn't get a hold of salesmen I was dealing with. Then talked to management then they said it was never ordered. Not a fan of such dealings.
