Went for a quick oil change and he said I needed all this work done and it would be $750+ and 3 hours. What! They were going to charge $69 for wiper blades which I already had done at O'Reilly's for a fraction of that. They wanted to charge $100 for cabin air filter which I watched a video, bought and did myself in minutes. They wanted to flush my brake fluid for $249 and I went to a trusted garage for a second opinion. The warranty calls for a brake fluid CHECK. The brake fluid was fine. When I went to pay for the stuff they did (still $300+) they charged me the 3% credit card fee! I don't mind paying that at a small business but this isn't that. They're crooks!

Update as of 03/08/25: Changed one start to four. I would give five star if yesterday did not happened. Came back this morning to relay my concerns. The Service Advisor/Manager who received me - Jacob Patton, was hands-down a true rock star! Upon hearing what happened to me yesterday, he was appalled and ensured that my concerns will be rectified. He accepted my truck, redo the oil-change and replace filter just for my peace of mind as I travel long-distance every week reason for doing it every 5k miles as part of its maintenance. After an hour, he handed over my truck, walked me through what they did and ensured me that all concerns were fixed. He even advised me that for future maintenance to make sure to give him a call to schedule it to ensure things will be done right the first time! What a guy! I am grateful to Jason for his true accommodation and support throughout this morning! What a relief to meet Jacob and looking forward to the next! Thank you sir! ++++++++++++++++++++++++ From 03/07 : One Star review > Not sure if the experience was just from the Service Advisor assigned to me - Mark Melcher but it was definitely not at par from the previous times I've been there. Seemed that it went downhill. Beware when you go here. What happened : came in today for my Tundra's scheduled PM that I scheduled a week before thru their online portal. I specifically requested to do an oil change (which I do every 5k miles), top of all fluids, tire rotation and wheel alignment. Mark the SA received my truck, prep the paperworks and sent me to the customer lounger to wait. After 45 mins contemplating on the Service Order, I don't recall that he confirmed that he will be doing the oil change + filter so went to him and asked. He said NO. How can he NOT include this considering that I have specifically instructed in my work order to have it done. So I asked him to include it and acknowledged that he will put it in. I went back to the lounge and waited. 3.5 hours has passed and monitoring the progress of my truck in their big screen tv ever since should be some sort of assurance that they are actually doing their job. In my past visits, this was actually true until today. The last time I saw my name and my truck from that list the stat stated that the SA is completing the paperworks and will be coming in to inform me of the completed job. 15-20 mins has passed and my name is no longer on the list and looking to the service bay there was my truck parked. Another 15 mins and still nothing. I texted the number that provides you sit-rep during the service asking for an update. He responded after 5 mins instructing me to go to his desk. So I went to his desk and he was somewhere else. Okay, Im done and just wanted to pay and head out which eventually able to do. Upon reaching my residence and parked, I popped the hood and checked everything I noticed that the coolant reservoir was not filled. The coolant level is below the median marker which is in between the high and low mark. Despite specifically requesting to top-off all fluid, he neglected to ensure that those were done. I've been coming here since I moved back from North Carolina and this was the first time this happened. The previous SA's where phenomenal, respectful, delivers and ensures that all your requests were done. This guy was the complete opposite! I tried calling him soon after I found out about the cooling level but to no avail. Also, the phone operator was rude and very disrespectful! Also, I just learned tonight upon checking my service record on their website that the oil change and replace filter was NOT DONE! Even though I paid for it! Now I need to go back and make sure this was done!

I don’t usually go to Toyota of Ann Arbor’s service center, mostly because I’ve had bad service almost every time. But I got a pretty good coupon for an oil change in the mail so I thought I’d give them a shot once more. I made an appointment for 1:00 for just an oil change, nothing more. My assigned advisor even asked why I hadn’t been in for so long, so I told her I had had bad and slow service in the past and that I thought they charged too much. You’d think that might make them want to do a better job maybe? I stated I’d be waiting while they did the service. My assigned person said it should be just an hour and that she would come get me when it was done. I went to the waiting lobby where I saw my name and car on a board so I could keep track of the progress. An hour went by and the board still said my car was “in process”. I thought they were still working on it and maybe they were busy. Then another 35 minutes went by. The board still said my car was “in process”. At that point I decided to go check on it when I see that my car is parked out in the parking lot, not inside waiting to be picked up. I track down my assigned person to ask if my car had even been started and she looked at her computer and said, “Oh, it’s done”. So why did no one tell me? Why did she not come get me? Why did I not get a text saying the car was done? When I asked these questions, she said “Well if you were wondering you could have come and asked anyone out here about it.” Why was that up to me when I was told someone would come let me know when my car was done? Then I spent another 20 minutes waiting for her to figure out how to actually use the coupon I had. She was new and that would not have been bad except that I had already been waiting so long and was apparently completely forgotten about. So, I am back to never going there again for service. I love Toyota vehicles, been a life long Toyota buyer, but I will never be taking my car to the Ann Arbor service place again. Hell, when it comes time for me to replace my car, I’ll drive out of my way to buy it from a different dealer.

Huge thank you to Terence for fixing my random license plate issue and getting me in and out in 15 minutes flat. He went above and beyond, and was SO courteous and helpful. And he saved me a huge amount of $$$. THANKS!!!

What's the point of scheduling an appointment if I still have to drop off my car and wait until the next day for a simple oil change? This dealership is an absolute joke. They have 30 to 40 employees, but instead of focusing on getting the work done, they seem more interested in selling and pushing unnecessary products.
