Tom's Cycle and Salvage, LLC Introduce
Tom's Cycle and Salvage, LLC, located at 14633 S Maribel Rd in Maribel, Wisconsin, serves as a local establishment catering to the needs of motorcycle enthusiasts and those seeking both new and salvaged auto parts. Operating within the platform category of "Auto Repair Stations," Tom's Cycle and Salvage aims to provide a combination of parts sales and repair services, primarily focused on motorcycles, but potentially extending to other vehicle types given the "salvage" aspect of their name. This introduction will delve into the potential environment, services, and features of this business, drawing inferences based on its name, location, and available customer reviews, while maintaining an objective perspective as requested.
Given the name "Tom's Cycle and Salvage," the environment of the establishment likely encompasses both a retail space for displaying parts and accessories, and a workshop area where repair and maintenance services are performed. The "salvage" aspect suggests the presence of a yard or storage area containing used vehicles or parts that are being dismantled for resale. Customers visiting the location might encounter a diverse inventory ranging from new, off-the-shelf motorcycle components to a more varied selection of used parts sourced from salvaged vehicles. The atmosphere could be that of a traditional repair shop combined with a potentially more rustic or industrial salvage yard aesthetic, depending on the scale and organization of the operation.
The services offered by Tom's Cycle and Salvage, LLC likely include a range of motorcycle repair and maintenance work. Based on one of the provided customer reviews, it appears they have undertaken services such as carburetor work and fork repairs. This suggests that their service capabilities extend to more complex mechanical repairs beyond basic maintenance. As an "Auto Repair Station," they would ideally offer diagnostics, routine servicing (oil changes, tune-ups), and repairs of various motorcycle systems. The "salvage" aspect also implies a service of dismantling vehicles for usable parts, which could then be offered for sale to customers looking for more affordable or hard-to-find components.
A key feature of Tom's Cycle and Salvage, as indicated by its name, is the combination of new and salvage parts. This dual offering can be advantageous for customers with different budgetary constraints or specific needs. Those looking for cost-effective solutions might find used parts from salvaged motorcycles suitable for their repairs, while others seeking guaranteed performance may opt for new components. This blend of options can also be particularly valuable for owners of older or less common motorcycle models where new parts might be expensive or difficult to source. The potential expertise in dealing with salvaged vehicles could also mean they possess unique knowledge or access to parts not readily available at traditional auto parts stores.
However, the provided customer reviews paint a concerning picture regarding the quality of their repair services. Both reviews, seemingly from the same individual recounting the same experience, detail significant dissatisfaction with the work performed on their motorcycle. The customer reports spending a substantial amount on carburetor and fork work, only to discover later that the work was allegedly substandard. Findings such as "completely dirty" carburetors with sealant and rust residue, sealant on gaskets, and replaced subcomponents showing signs of aging raise serious questions about the quality of workmanship. The customer further mentions hearing from other riders about the shop's "reputation of doing horrible work."
These reviews, while representing a single customer's experience, are significant and directly contradict the expectation of a competent "Auto Repair Station." The detailed allegations of poor workmanship and the subsequent disappointment expressed by the customer should be taken into serious consideration by potential local users and Auto Repair Stations seeking services from Tom's Cycle and Salvage, LLC. It is important to note that these are individual accounts, but the consistency and severity of the claims warrant caution.
Given the information available, there is no mention of any specific promotional information for Tom's Cycle and Salvage, LLC. It is common for auto repair and parts businesses to offer seasonal discounts, special offers on specific parts or services, or loyalty programs. Local users and Auto Repair Stations interested in potential promotions would need to contact the store directly at (920) 863-1699 or +1 920-863-1699 to inquire about any current deals or discounts that might be available.
In the context of serving "Auto Repair Stations," the negative reviews regarding the quality of repair work could be particularly concerning. Professional repair shops rely on other businesses to provide reliable parts and competent services when outsourcing or referring customers. If the reported issues with repair quality are accurate and widespread, it could deter other repair stations from partnering with or recommending Tom's Cycle and Salvage, LLC.
In conclusion, Tom's Cycle and Salvage, LLC in Maribel, WI, presents itself as a local auto parts store and repair station specializing in motorcycles, with the added dimension of offering salvage parts. While the potential for a diverse inventory of new and used components could be beneficial, the available customer reviews raise serious concerns about the quality of their repair services. Local users and Auto Repair Stations should carefully consider this feedback and potentially seek additional information or references before entrusting their vehicles or relying on Tom's Cycle and Salvage for repairs. For parts purchases, it would still be prudent to assess the quality and suitability of the offered items. Without any positive feedback or promotional information available, the negative experiences highlighted in the reviews stand as a significant factor for potential customers to be aware of.

Tom's Cycle and Salvage, LLC Customer Reviews
After spending almost $1500 dollars in carb work, fork work and other miscellaneous things I was happy with the work at first. Thought it was kind of expensive but good work isn’t cheap. After 2 days I started observing multiple things go wrong, brought it back to the shop and after two visits the bike was still not at 100%. I ended up not riding much that year because of that...this year as I am prepping for the season I started looking into the work this shop performed and I came to find out it was GARBAGE. The most severe findings were within the carbs. They were completely dirty, sealant and rust residue were within, sealant on the gaskets and the replaced subcomponents showing signs of severe aging. After talking to other riders this shop has the repudiation of doing horrible work. I am really disappointed as a very good friend recommended the shop and I came to really appreciate the owner but after I saw the state that my carbs were in and the results of spending my hard earn money, I decided to do everything in my power to inform the public and not allow this to happen to anyone else again.
