I had a great first experience with Dan at TLD Automotive. After an emergency with my newly purchased 2022 used Camry, I reached out to him at the last minute, and despite the timing right before the holidays, he was able to inspect my car. I had previously taken it to a dealership, where they assured me nothing was wrong, but didn’t take the time to educate me on what else I could do for my car such essential maintenance, like transmission and engine coolant oil changes. Dan not only addressed the immediate issue but also helped me schedule the necessary services for my car. When I purchased the used car, I wasn’t aware of the maintenance that had been neglected and would soon be required. Over time, Dan has shared his expertise, empowering me to better understand how to care for my car so it can last me another 10 years. What really sets Dan apart is his genuine care for his customers. He’s always taken the time to explain things in detail and keep me informed, even sharing pictures of my car’s progress. Thanks to Dan, I now feel confident that my car is in great hands and will be reliable for the long distances I need to travel for work. My boyfriend, initially skeptical about the services needed, was quickly convinced after hearing the same educational tips from Dan. Then he said, “Do whatever Dan says. I like the guy!” I also now have a better understanding on what to look and questions to ask when purchasing a used car. I’m so glad I found a mechanic my family can trust. Thank you, Dan!

TLD is the BEST Toyota/Lexus auto service in Visalia—perhaps in all of California! Dan is incredibly detailed and meticulous. He explains everything that needs to be repaired or replaced and what requires immediate attention. He updates you with photos of the work being done and provides helpful tips on how to keep your car in tip-top shape. Dan treats your car as if it were his own, going the extra mile to get the job done right. He's friendly, knowledgeable, and honest. I wish I’d found him sooner. They also did an amazing job cleaning the car, the engine, and the battery! His near-perfect 5-star ratings are genuine and come from people who have also experienced his excellent service. I would definitely recommend him to my family and friends.

Dan is extremely knowledgeable, HONEST, hardworking, and the most reliable mechanic my family has ever had in all that is Lexus and Toyota. I'm only sad we did not find him earlier for our cars before. He sends progress pictures on all the work. We had a complete tune-up/transmission fluid flush. Sadly we waited to long for a proper flush, so Dan being the "honest" and "knowledgeable" mechanic that he is knew through experience not to do a whole flush of the engine fluid but to just change out the fluid. Dan still changed out and serviced parts I did not know needed the attention that even the Car Dealer did not change out. His prices are very good too. TLD is top notch, and Dan provides over and beyond service. The car that you drop off, is a totally different car when you pick up (will run like brand new and a champ!!). Dan takes pride in all his work like it was his own car. He also provides good sound advice to help extend the life of the car which my family and I have adopted. Thank you Dan!!! Looking forward to working with you in future repair deals : )

Overall I had a great experience with Dan. Even though he was busy, he was able to fit me in. His customer service is top notch providing text message updates with pictures of the issues he found. Dan was the second mechanic I had gone to for the same problem and I wished I had gone to him first. He also included after service care by proving tips on how to care for your car to extend its life and followed up two weeks later to make sure everything was running smoothly. You can tell he truly cares and takes pride in his craft. I will defiantly be going back and recommend him to my family and friends.

Dan was referred to me by my daughter. She brought in her Lexus to Dan and was so happy and 100% satisfied with the quality of his work..as i was as well. He was very friendly and would text me during the process would explain to me what he was working on. I feel very gratetful that my daughter was referred to. It is not a surprise that he has so many great reviews. He goes above and beyond and is very diligent in his work. I will no longer be taking my car to Toyota dealer. Thank you Dan! We were having issues with our Lexus RX so we took it to Dan and he corrected them right away. It was one of the easiest and least stressful auto-related experiences we’ve ever had. He took his time to explain everything thoroughly and absolutely made us feel like he had our best interest in mind.
