TC Auto Repair Introduce

TC Auto Repair, located at 4610 El Cajon Blvd, San Diego, CA 92115, USA, operates within the "Auto Repair Stations" category, aiming to provide various automotive services to local users. However, based on the customer reviews available, this establishment presents a concerning profile, with a consistent pattern of negative experiences reported by multiple clients. This introduction aims to objectively present the information available, allowing potential customers to make an informed judgment.

Environment and Operational Practices (as described by customers)

The operational environment at TC Auto Repair, as depicted in the customer reviews, appears to be fraught with issues regarding transparency, efficiency, and customer care. Instead of a smooth and reassuring repair process, customers describe prolonged waits for their vehicles, extending to "weeks" or even "over 8 months." This suggests a disorganized or understaffed operation that struggles with timely completion of work. The communication from the shop, particularly from an individual named Robert mentioned in one review, is portrayed as inconsistent and untrustworthy, with "lie about it" and changing "agreement." This indicates a challenging and potentially frustrating environment for vehicle owners seeking resolutions to their car troubles. The general sentiment points to an unprofessional setting where customer property may not be adequately secured or accounted for, and agreements are not consistently honored.

Services Offered (and issues reported with them)

As an "Auto Repair Station," TC Auto Repair presumably offers a range of services aimed at diagnosing and fixing vehicle problems. While the specific array of services isn't extensively detailed in the provided reviews, one customer mentions a "cooler leak problem," indicating that they handle common automotive fluid system repairs. Another review mentions general "car problems" that remained unfixed after service. Based on the negative feedback, the primary "goods for sale" are repair services, which, according to the reviews, are significantly problematic. Key concerns regarding their services include:

  • Unresolved Issues Post-Repair: The most significant complaint is that problems for which customers paid substantial amounts (e.g., "$600 dlls to fix my very simple cooler leak problem," "over $500 on my car") remained "exactly the same" and "was not fixed." This directly undermines the fundamental purpose of an auto repair station.

  • High Costs for No Resolution: Customers report being charged significant sums for ineffective repairs, with one being told they "had to spend $900 more" after the initial costly, failed attempt. This points to very expensive services that do not deliver value.

  • Lack of Mechanic Experience/Competence: One review explicitly states, "the mechanics have no experience." This directly questions the technical capability of the individuals performing the repairs, which is critical for an "Auto Repair Station."

  • Vehicle Retention for Extended Periods: Cars were kept "two weeks in the workshop" or "over 8 months," far exceeding reasonable repair times for the issues described. This causes significant inconvenience and distress for vehicle owners.

  • Missing Parts: A severe accusation involves parts going "missing off my engine," including a distributor, distributor cap, and carburetor spacer, with inconsistent explanations provided by the shop. This raises serious concerns about accountability and integrity.

  • Absence of Guarantees/Refunds: Customers claim there is "no guarantee they will fix your car or refund your money," which is a major red flag for consumer protection and trust in a service business.

Given these pervasive issues, any "goods for sale" (i.e., parts) used in their repair services would also be questionable in terms of effective application, if the repairs themselves are not completed satisfactorily.

Key Features (as experienced by customers)

Based on the provided customer feedback, the notable "features" of TC Auto Repair are predominantly negative, highlighting significant operational and ethical concerns:

  • Allegations of Scamming: Multiple reviews use strong language such as "THEY SCAM PEOPLE!!" and "history of scamming people," indicating a perceived pattern of dishonest business practices.

  • Unprofessional Conduct: The shop is described as "very unprofessional," with specific examples including lying about repair readiness, changing agreements, and potentially mishandling customer property.

  • Ineffective Repairs: The core failure is the inability to fix stated problems despite charging for the work, leading to frustration and continued vehicle issues for customers.

  • Poor Communication: Inconsistent and untruthful communication from shop personnel exacerbates customer dissatisfaction.

  • Excessive Waiting Times: The prolonged duration for which vehicles are held is a consistent point of contention, impacting customer mobility and trust.

  • Lack of Accountability: The difficulty in getting issues resolved or refunds for unsatisfactory work suggests a lack of accountability for their services.

These features, as reported by customers, paint a picture of a business that struggles with fundamental aspects of automotive repair and customer service.

Promotional Information and Accessibility

TC Auto Repair is located at 4610 El Cajon Blvd, San Diego, CA 92115, USA. They can be reached via phone at (619) 450-4531 or mobile phone at +1 619-450-4531. However, any typical promotional information that a business might offer is overshadowed by the dire warnings from past customers. Instead of positive promotions, the prevailing "information" from the internet consists of strong recommendations to "DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!!" and to "Save yourself the money and time, go to another place!!" The consistent negative reviews act as a powerful deterrent. For potential customers in San Diego seeking automotive repair services, it is critical to heed these warnings and thoroughly research any auto repair facility before entrusting them with a vehicle or payment, especially considering the severe allegations of unresolved issues, prolonged delays, and questionable business practices associated with TC Auto Repair.

THEY SCAM PEOPLE!! I paid around $600 dlls to fix my very simple cooler leak problem. The car remained exactly the same, the problem was not fixed. and my car lasted two weeks in the workshop. Then they told me that I had to spend $900 more. This place is very expensive, the mechanics have no experience. and there is no guarantee they will fix your car or refund your money. Save youe self the money and time, go to another place !!

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!! Very unprofessional and will take your money with out fixing the problem on your car!! Spent over $500 on my car and they still didn’t fix it, also they keep you car for weeks! They tell you it will be ready one day then lie about it. If i had the time and money i would definitely sue them! Listen to the other people comments and you’ll see they have a history of scamming people.

Great job with my brakes, he even went above and beyond and topped my fluids. Honest and knowledgeable mechanic.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE! I had a horrible experience at TC. I spent $600 for my 90 thousand Mile tune up. The next day my car started making a weird noise in the front driver side. I brought it back and I told them the problem and asked to speak to TC who was standing right there doing nothing. They said he was too busy to talk to me. I took one of the employees for a ride to listen to the noise. He said I'd have to bring it back when they weren't so busy. I returned 2 more time, they were always too busy. I'm thinking of suing.

Tircio is Good and honest mechanic. Had the better deal than other shops so I got my timing belt done with them and am very satisfied with their work. I highly recommend Him.
