Take 5 Oil Change

I was greeted with a cold water and a smile this morning! Chris B. and Ethan W. Provided excellent service. They worked quickly and efficiently as a team to take care of of my care while communicating about the service needs as well as assuring I was aware of the top off services for my vehicle in between my oil changes. Overall a fantastic interaction. Pricing was fair and I will definitely be back to see them again.

They were very through for under $100. I generally change my own oil but it’s been cold and I don’t want to be put in it if I don’t have to. They were quick, topped off all my fluids, and also helped me with my wiper blades. They also recommended a place for inspection, which is great, since the one by our house washed away. I was pleasantly surprised, and I will absolutely use them again next time I don’t have the time to do it myself.

Ok, listen y'all - I drove up and these guys immediately gave me a COLD bottled water. They pulled me inside almost immediately and got to work on my oil change. They were so wonderful - ALL of them. And there were probably 5 or 6 of them simultaneously bustling around my car. I got new wiper blades, a new air filter (they showed me the old one - so gross), a new cabin filter (also was horribly disgusting), and they topped off my windshield wiper fluid and put fuel tank cleaner stuff in the car, too. They were all so jovial and seemed genuinely happy to be working there. I hope they are all paid WELL, and held onto - because these guys were total GEMS!

I had never been to Take 5 and I decided to take my car in on a Saturday morning. I went to the East Asheville, NC location and I must say these guys are fantastic. They got the oil changed, my air filter changed and topped off my fluids in no time. They also sent me a 25% discount code before I pulled my car in and saved me a lot. I give 5 stars and would definitely recommend this shop!

DO NOT GO TO THIS TAKE 5!! They DESTROYED MY CAR ENGINE!! they didn't drain all the oil out of my car before putting the new oil in!! The photos are of the oil we had to drain out to get it back to where it should be. The oil was at the top of the oil stick! The oil was really black like it wasn't even drained! I took my car to a repair shop and they said they would have to dismantle the whole engine to get a good idea of all the damage!! My car was not old it only had 64,000 miles on it! Please save yourself the value of your car by NOT GOING TO THIS PLACE! The store manager came over to my house to look at my car. He acted like he wanted to help. Did a oil change and took pictures AFTER he did the new oil change! but didn't take any pictures of the old oil or the mistakes they made! He said he would get back with me soon. It's been a week and complete silence! I also sent email to district manager and nothing... Do not go here!! If something happens to your car they will not help you! They will cover it up and hope you go away. I have to figure out what I'm going to do about this, because i lost out on thousands of dallors! Just because of a oil change!!!!

Fast and easy experience! Didn’t even have to get out of my car and they provided me with a cold water bottle. Love that coupons were available on their website. They checked all my fluid levels and filters. They even washed my windshield and put air in my tires for me! Best oil change experience I’ve had in a long time.

Nice, friendly and efficient teamwork. The employees communicate with each other and the customer really well.They also pay attention to details. In and out in a few minutes on a weekday afternoon. Free top offs, which is great if you have a car that burns oil.

The mechanics were very nice and friendly. But their price for an oil change is pretty darn high. The $3.99 shop charge is just padding the bill. My vehicle takes 5.5 quarts of oil. They up charged $5.00 for the one half quart over 5 quarts. Other major oil change locations change your oil AND rotate tires for $30.00 less than Take 5 charges for oil change only. Be prepared to spend around $90.00 for a simple oil change.
