Sun Control Window Tinting

If you need window tinting in your house or business, go with this company! Mark and Ryan could not have been any more professional or helpful. My company renovated a 30 year old building without changing out the HVAC unit or replacing the windows. Regardless of what temperature the HVAC was set to, employees on the sunny side of the building were frying while the employees on the back side were freezing. The insulation on the windows had worn down and no matter how hard the HVAC was running, people could not get comfortable. Not to mention the HVAC was not designed for the amount of employees we have. As the Facilities Manager, I had to find a solution since getting a new HVAC or replacing all of the windows was not the option the company wanted to take. I looked into several window film companies and met with some great people. However, Sun Control had both great people and best film available. I was needing as much heat rejection as I could find and they showed me their Llumar RN07 with 72% heat rejection on double pane windows and let me tell you it instantly worked!!! Mark and Ryan showed up with various samples and thorough explanations of how they worked. At first we were just going to put the film on the hotter side of the building until Mark explained how the film would really keep the temp more insulated inside. So it was then decided to get the film on the entire building to not only help out the HVAC but to also provide privacy for the offices on the first floor who always have confidential information on their computer screens.This team completed our 40, 000+ sq. foot building in just under 3 weeks and that was with a death in the family which required them to be out for 2-3 days.They were in and out of offices with minimal interruptions. On an average day, before getting the window film installed, I could check our set temperatures on the thermostat and there would be a 5 degree difference between that and what the temp was reading. As soon as they completed our second floor, I checked all thermostats and the temps read what the set temp was at. I had to change plans maybe 10 different times on how many windows, doors we were going to do and each time they would come out to discuss new options. You will see in the last picture there are three rows of windows. The row in the middle was filler space and already had some type of tint on the glass. Mark and Ryan unbelievably matched that up with our window film. I was blown away. I couldn't be happier with this company and this film. I've included a few pictures to show before and after as well as the final view. I cannot stress enough how professional, timely and all around great to work with this team was. Mark has done two cars for me. A 2024 dodge Durango and a 2008 Toyota Yaris, he treated both the same! Very happy with both! Planning on taking my work van next!

Ryan was really easy to work with and they did a great job tinting my wife’s car. Would highly recommend! They even honored a quote from 6 months ago. I had some other priorities pop up that delayed this but that was a nice surprise.

It’s been about 350 days since I got my car tinted. I’ve had my car in the west coast heat and northeast winter. The tint has not bubbled nor scuffed. They did a great job, with the installation, 30mins. They look factory

The owners use quality coatings and take the necessary time to professionally complete the installation. I have the window tinting on my RV now for 6 months and continue to be satisfied with the result. Nice to support a son who has taken over the father's business.
