Juan is the man! I first spoke with him over the phone a few months ago about replacing my transmission and leaky A/C condenser on my ’03 WRX. I thought I needed an entire transmission swap because my synchros were bad and the clutch was slipping, so he helped me source a USDM transmission. I wanted him to inspect the vehicle first, so I took my car to his shop where he concluded after test driving it that I just needed to replace the clutch. The transmission was still solid. He gave me great advice on the Stage 2 clutches I was considering, along with the aftermarket flywheel and A/C kit I planned to have installed. We agreed on a fair price, but living 60 miles away, I couldn’t find the time to take a day off work to bring my car in. Fast forward a few months later to around New Year's, I reached out again, and Juan was incredibly accommodating, telling me to come on down whenever I was ready. On the way to his shop, I embarrassingly ran out of gas 20 minutes away (a first for me, old Subie lying about the gas levels). I called Juan, and without hesitation, he sent his son to bring me gas. Talk about going above and beyond which sets his shop apart. When I arrived, his team got straight to work. During our inspection, his son pointed out that some of my engine gaskets and oil filter gasket were leaking oil. I knew my car leaked oil but I didn't have time to pinpoint yet. I confirmed by all the dried oil caked around the gaskets. He offered to replace the parts after ordering them from Subaru the next day and I agreed. Since the repair would take time, Juan generously let me borrow his STI to drive home while my car was in the shop. A few days later, Juan called to say my WRX was ready. When I arrived, he explained that during his test drive with the new clutch, smoke started pouring out of the hood. He discovered that my coolant reservoir had cracked due to rust (my WRX is from Illinois and a certified rust bucket). Instead of charging me for a replacement, because the issue happened under his care, Juan used a spare reservoir he had planned to toss out. That level of care was something I truly appreciated. After swapping out the coolant reservoir, Juan warned me that coolant had leaked onto the header wraps, so there would still be some smoke as the coolant burned off while I drove home. He offered to remove the header wraps for me, but it was getting late and they have done a lot for me already, so I decided to keep it on. To put my mind at ease, he gave me a jug of water and even his fire extinguisher, just in case. What a guy! Now the new clutch is a game-changer, night and day difference compared to my old one. Shifting feels solid and no more slipping! All I need now is a proper tune to take advantage of its full potential. The A/C also blows ice cold again, no more sweaty summers! My 2016 WRX developed the dreaded throw out bearing noise and completely failed. I called subie stop and they answered right away, unlike most Subaru specialists I tried. Juan was straight forward on pricing and turn around time. He even assured me they could do the snout repair if it was damaged, I lucked out and he was honest about it. If you have a subaru do not hesitate to take it to Subie Stop

Had a great experience at this shop after my Crosstrek was struggling with some bad CV Axles. They helped get my suspension running like new and installed shocks, springs, control arms and a Rallitek lift kit. Very reasonable pricing and excellent communication all along the way. Can’t say thank you enough.

FAST diagnostics and repair. Owner showed me the problem and explained it to me so i could understand. Very hospitable and friendly. Shop has an Upbeat vibe, honest prices. Better than the dealership. They even helped me with transportation while they worked. Wont be going anywhere else!

I own a 2013 Subaru STI with 93k miles and I called Subie Stop to see about servicing my car due to a vibration and shuttering while taking off in first gear. I'm so glad I spoke to Master Mechanic Juan he is very knowledgeable. My understanding is he once worked at Subaru so he is factory trained and certified. We settled on replacing the clutch at a very fair and reasonable price. While the transmission was out I also asked Juan to replace the rear main seal, flywheel, and clutch fork and to my surprise he didn't hesitate to throw that in as well. Now after driving it 500 miles it drives so good even better than I could remember. Juan and his team Marissa and JR are also great they help check you in right when you get there. Subie Stop is truly your one stop shop for everything Subaru. From anything major like clutch jobs and engine builds to normal maintenence like engine oil changes, differential oil changes, spark plugs and all at very fair prices. And it won't be a far out appointment to bring your car in for service they are very prompt which I appreciate a lot. There's a waiting area if you decide to hang out they treat you like family. This shop is incredibly amazing, especially when you have a newer vehicle. I had my clutch replaced by them. which would be very expensive at the dealership almost 3 time more than what he charged me. , My vehicle was fixed same day at Subie Stop. I’m so Thankful that this shop is local,, Reliable, honest . The owner told me come in right away no worries I purchased my car in Temecula and I’ve always gone the distance to have things done. The dealership of Temecula is horrible always gives you the run around and to get an appointment take almost 5 days. Juan the owner helps you with referrals to an honest dealership, DCH of Riverside that helps you with your warranties, unlike Temecula Thank you Juan the owner of Subie Stop I will always bring my car to you ✌️
