Steve's Garage Customer Reviews

Upon arriving at this garage I was impressed with the warmth I felt from Steve. I also loved that he had Christian music playing throughout the garage. However upon having him work on my vehicle I quickly came to realize that first impressions don't mean diddly when it comes to mechanics. I had brought my 2007 Chevy Trailblazer in because the power steering line was leaking and it wouldn't hold fluid. He quoted me a price of a approximately $120 or so to fix it. I was amazed because the last quote I got was well close to $500. So I had him fix it. The truck worked okay for about two weeks, then the line broke again. I stopped in to have him look at it and was told it started leaking in a different area. Now, for those who don't know, a power steering line is pressurized. Placing an additional piece of hose with a couple hose clamps over the leak will not solve the issue. But that is what I was charged for, and that is the work that was done on my truck. The "new" leak, was nothing more than the pressure breaking through the bandaid he had put on my hose. The "new" leak was now a full blow out. I was told if I threw him more money he would fix it again. No thank you.
