Steve's Auto Parts II Introduce
Located at 3331 S 61st St, Philadelphia, PA 19153, USA, Steve's Auto Parts II functions as an auto parts store within the broader category of "Auto Repair Stations" (though its primary offering is parts rather than repair services). This establishment aims to supply local mechanics and vehicle owners with the necessary components to maintain and repair their automobiles. You can contact Steve's Auto Parts II at (215) 726-8853 or via mobile at +1 215-726-8853.
The environment of an auto parts store like Steve's Auto Parts II typically involves a retail counter for customer interactions, shelves stocked with various automotive components, and potentially a back storage area for larger or less frequently requested items. While no specific details about the physical layout or cleanliness of this particular store are available from the provided reviews, the customer experiences heavily focus on the human interaction aspect rather than the physical space. This suggests that the atmosphere is largely shaped by the staff's demeanor and willingness to assist customers. The negative reviews particularly highlight an environment where some customers felt unwelcome or received less than ideal service, impacting their perception of the overall store atmosphere.
As an auto parts store, Steve's Auto Parts II primarily provides goods for sale rather than direct repair services, though its categorization under "Auto Repair Stations" might imply a close relationship with the repair sector, either by supplying local repair shops or by being a common stop for DIY enthusiasts. The core services offered would revolve around the sale and provision of automotive components. These typically include:
- Sale of Automotive Parts: This is the fundamental service, offering a wide range of parts for various vehicle makes and models. This could include, but is not limited to, engine components, brake parts, suspension parts, filters, belts, hoses, electrical components, and body parts.
- Part Sourcing and Ordering: If a specific part is not in stock, the store would likely have the capability to order it for customers from their suppliers.
- Customer Assistance in Part Identification: Staff members would ideally assist customers in identifying the correct parts for their specific vehicle and repair needs, often requiring knowledge of vehicle systems and parts catalogs.
- Returns and Exchanges: Standard retail practices for handling defective or incorrectly purchased parts.
While the reviews do not specify particular types of parts sold, the general nature of an auto parts store implies a broad inventory to cater to diverse repair requirements.
The notable features of Steve's Auto Parts II, based on the provided customer reviews, are unfortunately largely centered around challenges in customer service and staff attitude. One review explicitly mentions an "Asian guy in there that did not want to serve me and he was acting like he was racist." This serious accusation, stemming from a customer who has been in the neighborhood for 30 years, points to a perceived discriminatory and unwelcoming interaction. Another review describes staff as "Rude" and "nonchalant on multiple occasions," further elaborating on instances where a staff member allegedly "lied on the phone about having the parts." These accounts suggest a significant issue with the consistency and quality of customer interaction, where customers feel disrespected or misled. The sentiment, "No need to be that way to the people that pay your bills," directly addresses the impact of poor service on customer perception and loyalty.
In contrast, the store's primary feature, from a functional perspective, is its role as a local supplier of auto parts. For those in the 61st Street area of Philadelphia, it provides a physical location for acquiring automotive components. The existence of the store means it fulfills a demand for readily available parts in the neighborhood.
Regarding promotional information, the provided data does not contain any explicit details about sales, discounts, loyalty programs, or marketing campaigns run by Steve's Auto Parts II. The customer reviews, being predominantly negative, serve as an inverse form of promotional information, highlighting areas where the business falls short in customer experience. For potential customers, the perceived issues with staff attitude and honesty, as conveyed in these reviews, would likely be a significant factor in their decision-making process. Businesses in the auto parts sector typically rely on competitive pricing, extensive inventory, and knowledgeable, helpful staff to attract and retain customers. When these core elements are perceived as lacking, it can significantly impact customer traffic and loyalty, as one reviewer explicitly states, "Sure I'll go elsewhere and you'll still be in business. No need to be that way to the people that pay your bills." This sentiment suggests that while the business may have a captive local market, customer satisfaction is a critical element for long-term success and positive community relations.
In summary, Steve's Auto Parts II, located at 3331 S 61st St, Philadelphia, PA, functions as a local auto parts store, providing essential automotive components to the community. While its primary service is the sale of car parts, customer feedback heavily emphasizes concerns regarding the quality of customer service and staff demeanor, including accusations of racism and dishonesty. These reported negative interactions significantly impact the perceived environment and overall feature set of the business from a customer's perspective. There is no information available regarding specific promotional activities, suggesting that the store's operations are geared towards direct parts sales, with customer experience being a critical area highlighted by online feedback.

Rude staff.lied on the phone about having the parts. The one guy has been nonchalant on multiple occasions. I get it I need the part. I'm looking for a service you provide. Not your attitude. Sure I'll go elsewhere and you'll still be in business. No need to be that way to the people that pay your bills.

I was in need for a tailgate door automatic lock actuator. The guy at the front desk quickly helped me find the.very right part I needed for my minivan. The price was moderate, meaning: inexpensive; and it was paid in cash only. I wish they were able to accept a credit card payment, so that I could buy some more items I also needed without having to.look for an ATM around the neighbourhood

Bought a replacement engine for my car, despite having very low miles on all of them they all had blown head gaskets, tried 3 times with 3 different engines with only 80k miles on all of them, they do not test any of their engines to ensure they have no issues. Just gonna replace the head gaskets on this 3rd one and never go back to them again ever for any used parts. So should you.
