My son is at the U of M and his car started to leak quite a bit of oil. The location of the shop was conveniently close to campus. Bill got his car in quickly and fixed it the same day. We are happy with the service, the speed, and the price of his work. My son will go back here if he has any issues in the future!

Honestly, I’ve gone to Southeast Auto for a couple years at this point and haven’t had a negative experience until today. About a month ago, the hybrid system on my car failed and I had to take my Prius to the dealership to get it fixed. In the past, I’ve had issues that I have brought to southeast and they recommended I take it to the dealership because it would be less cost effective for me to have them (southeast) preform the service. With this in mind, when my dealership said that my rear brakes needed to be replaced while fixing the hybrid system, I said go ahead without much of a second thought. Today I brought that recently repaired Prius to Southeast and, Bill, owner and mechanic, was pretty livid with me for going elsewhere. So upset with me that my oil change cost nearly double what it has in the past (normally $100-140, today $190). He essentially told me not to come back because I am not a profitable customer and my business was no longer wanted. Up until this point Bill had been extremely personable and a great, reliable mechanic, so the shift in attitude towards me was pretty shocking. I was completely ignorant of the expectation that I call SE before receiving any service elsewhere, so that’s on me, and hopefully this review helps anyone else who may not be aware of this. I guess I expected a little more grace from a business that prides themselves on quality customer care. Won’t be bothering them anymore!
