Smog Xpress

In the last half year I have stopped here to get a smog-check on 2 different vehicles. Both times I had the luck of Cammie attending the booth. In my 2+ decades of having to perform this annual responsibility (in 5 different states), I have never dealt with a more polite, cheerful and efficient individual. While some might remove a star or two because of the facility or parking lot limitations, the quick and kind customer service made those issues seem futile.

Cami was amazing. Great personality and very friendly. Was able to get my diesel Jeep smogged quick and efficiently. Been coming back to this place just because of customer service.

First, don’t pay attention to the overall low rating. Apparently that’s from a couple years ago with prior management. My experience here was excellent last week, quick, efficient, professional, Camie even gave me tips about my car and more information than the DMV did for registration. I will be back next year!

Camy was awesome she knew exactly how to direct me onto the equipment for my diesel smog test and she was very patient as it’s only my 2nd time getting a diesel smog and it’s quite different than a gas smog. She also knew quite a bit about my truck and about diesels in general so I enjoyed chatting with her while I waited. It was also very difficult to actually find a place that does diesel smog’s because many places have it listed online however when you drive there they absolutely can not test diesels so I was very happy to find this spot again.

Update: April 2, 2025 I figured I would wait until after April fools so you know this was no joke. We here at Smog Xpress have a new owner but we still have me here. Come on in and see me!!Side note.... I want to thank all my great customers out there who have taken the time to give me a Google review I appreciate you all!!! Update: January 3rd, 2024 HAPPY NEW YEAR LAS VEGAS! The station is open 8:00am-5:00pm Monday thru Friday. Closed Saturday and Sunday. The station provides emissions testing for gasoline and diesel vehicles. Along with the most up to date information regarding the Nevada DMV. Have a question? Just ask. If I don't know the answer I will do my best to get the answer for you. Reminder, the DMV is on an appointment basis with walking days available on Wednesday only. Please try your best to make your appointment before you come in for your smog test so that you make sure that you have a valid test. All smog test is performed are good for 90 days. November 2, 2023 Update the dyno is still down. I am so sorry for the inconvenience with this matter. I am hoping that by Monday afternoon we will have the dyno repaired and be back in service. We are still open for gas testing. Any questions please call the shop. 702-889-4400. Update: October 4, 2023 8:00am It's October, my personally favorite month. Come on this month and mention this update and receive a discount on you emissions test. Google hasn't updated the store hours so I guess I better. Station is open Monday-Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm. We are doing general maintenance on both Gas and Diesel testing machines. Check back for another update! Thank! August 27, 2023 Hello Folks, I'm Cam. I am the new management and tech for Smog Xpress. Wanted to give an update. We are able to test Gasoline & Hybrid vehicles. Although our Diesel testing machine is still down. I will have the station open from 7am-7pm on Monday August 28, 2023. I my understanding is that the diesel machine should be repaired by noon or 1pm at the latest. You need more Camie’s in the world. She was enjoyable (who wants to smog test their car?), quick (7 minutes), and intelligent (knew her cars/smog). Great hire!!!!!
