Beetle Barn

I went to Beetle Barn due to mostly good reviews. Had my bug towed in because I needed a new ignition switch installed, and while it was there, I asked Justin to go ahead and do an oil change and tune up. I was given a quote for something like $480 for like 4 hrs of labor. I approved the quote. A few days later, Justin called me and said the price was now like $1000 because of some unseen issues. But I was ok with that if it meant my bug would run better. When I came to pick up my bug, the price was now about $1,140 again because of unseen issues. I wasn't really happy at the final price I paid, but then again I haven't had a car this old in quite some. So I paid the bill and went on my way. But my bug runs much better now and I'm satisfied with BBs work and I'll be back if I need any further service. They are good people!

I've learned through the years, not to judge an auto mechanic by price, but by their experience and expertise. That is Justin at Beetle Barn. I brought my 72 VW Camper Bus in based on his reputation, and I am thrilled with the results. Not only did he fix the major problem, but he added horsepower and reliability. He seemed as excited with the upgrades as I am! My Westy will always be in great hands with Justin and Beetle Barn

The team at Beetle Barn is amazing, they did such a great job with my clutch replacement. They were very professional and answered all my questions, and even provided instructions on the clutch break in process. From beginning to end it was such a pleasant experience with a very knowledgeable team. The one issue (if you could call it that) is that they are very busy and get booked up quickly, but worth the wait. Thank you Beetle Barn for the Great work. This place is highly recommended.

I’ll try to find time to do a whole review,, I’m out enjoying my Vehicel,,,this place is no GOOD,,,glad I didn’t put to much trust in him ********REVIEW UPDATE 08/27/2024******** TO WHOM IT MAY BENIFIT,,,,,We Came to your shop ,,,The Beetle Barn looking to get my VW sandrail tuned up,,because my engine running crappy,,, first of all you would not even get out of your SEAT that morning at 7:30am to come out and look at or inspect my Sandrail,, oh just leave it out front,,, What???? you not gonna at least look at it,,,oh no,, you got a problem,,, I should of left at that point and known that you ain’t real,, don’t care how long u been in business,, you should inspect the vehicle coming in to your shop ,,,second of all your ESTIMATE went up FIVE times from $290.00 to $525.00 to $1,600 to $2,700 to $4,500,,,,, What the Hell??? My Wife was ready to ok the $1,600 but then he gave more Guestimates,,I told her Na Na Na,,, after you (looked) at it for THREE days,, Bogus Estimate. should of known you ain’t real,, no pictures,, no good explanations,, didn’t sound true,,,don’t know you,,,I’m suppose to believe you,, trust you,,we were blown away that you were trying to charge us that amount of money when we new that our Sandrail’s didn’t need all that,, THE bullshit he was talkin bout,,,,should of know you ain’t real,, I said HELL to the NA NA NA,, then he had the audacity to charge me $335.00 to write up the estimate,, Damm did he even turn a screwdriver??? did he check the gas??? didn’t even come out to look at our buggy??? when I told him no we coming to get our baby,,, you won’t get no more of my money,, I hope you still got that $335.00 cause you owe that to GOD and he’s waiting for it,,, where do they do that??? I found a real mechanic that invited me in ,,,shook my hand,,gave me a tour of his shop and crew and explained in detail that after he heard my engine start up,,, it took him about 10 minutes to determine the problem and he said I’ll have it ready and running good by tomorrow and said it’s gonna be $700.00, the Estimate was FREE,,,the Diagnostic was FREE,,,just a Honest Mechanic that Loves what he does,,,,I said oh Jesus Thank God,, a man that is real,, Friendly,,, Honest,,and cares about his Customers,,,no matter who they are,,,,my buggy is running like new,, I’m so Thankful I was Praying that God would find me a real person that cares and not trying to GOUG me of my Retirement money,,, always remember,,, “everybody ain’t real” better watch who you talkin too ,,, ESTIMATE GOUGING RUN RUN “WOW WOW WOW”

Helped me out of a jam. I was on a turnaround trip up from Phoenix and my car's skid plate had come partially detached. No time to get parts but they got me in during some spare minutes to remove the rest so it wouldn't destroy the car or others on the road when it would have come off. Very friendly and helpful.

Justin at the Beetle Barn were incredibly accommodating with our out of town break down situation. They had us fixed up and on our way in no time. The price was more than fair.
