Charged 303.00 and the mechanic failed to properly diagnose a misfire on number cylinder. They replaced my new spark plugs and said it was fixed. The car was running rough when I picked it up after hours barely got home. I did a compression check on all cylinders and the misfiring cylinder number 1 zero psi and the others were 120 psi. Do not take your vehicle to this place of business they will you rip you off.

I usually don’t write reviews, but wanted to share our experience. Our vehicle broke down a few weeks ago, we decided to have it towed to Shugars. One there isn’t too many mechanics in our area and they had done work for us before and were reasonable. This time started how well, vehicle entered the shop has a no start so they run a $80 diagnostics(we’re fine with this). Comes back the distributor is bad. Keep in mind a distributor online is $90 but because of warranty issues we must purchase it from them for $284(still okay with this). The vehicle is finished; go to pick it up our total is now $493(little pricey but still okay got to have a vehicle). On the way home notice that it is now missing. Call them up no problem bring it back in. So now a second diagnostic($80) mechanic says distributor cap, spark plugs, and wires. At this point a little frustrated but we need our vehicle. So after thinking this will fix it, call to check on the progress and it now needs a new fuel injector for the #4 cylinder. When asked how much for the diagnostic scan, cap, plugs, wires, a couple of seals, and fuel injector $803. So we ask what if this doesn’t fix it, not sure haven’t talked that far with the mechanic. We stop the work saying no thanks we just can’t afford that. We go to pick up our vehicle now owing $248 dollars, we have now spent almost $750 dollars!(that’s a lot of money). You expect your vehicle to be in decent running shape by then, no if anything our vehicle is running worse.(more like a lawnmower). Our vehicle now sits in the driveway until we can afford to get it fixed! We handle this situation with class, and respect paying what was due, but to say we’ve been taken advantage of I think so! We just wanted to share our experience so that no one else has to go through this. Shop around before you but your vehicle in the wrong hands!
