Ross Beakes Collision - Platt Rd

I visited this store on July 11th because it is on the State Farm recommended list. On that day, no technician showed up, but a receptionist took several pictures of my car and then I was allowed to drive back. It has been two weeks since then, but there has been no progress and I have not received an estimate from them. I have called them twice to ask for the estimate, but they always say they are busy and will give it to me soon. I am really disappointed and now I am looking for a new body shop for an estimate. However, two weeks have already been wasted.

Really kind and honest people. Will absolutely recommend to friends still in the area. They worked really hard for me to try to find a used mirror for my car, and when it wasn't possible (those who need to replace honda fit mirrors know this struggle,) they did everything they could to expedite the process before I had to make a big move across the country. And when a third party made a mistake that impacted the repair, they made it right for me, even with the tight timeline. Basically--they are great and fairly priced. My repair was a little rocky due to factors out of their control but they did everything they could to make it easier for me.

Are they expensive? I don't think so every time we ask other business around and everything comes at similar price. Are they a business with good practice? So far so good. They took care of several cars from friends and neighbors. The owner is eager to promote good business practice, not with the usual business. But he cares about his customers. One of our neighbors is an elder woman, living along with family that lives far away. We are not far from the business, for me an easy walk for a 80 + years old ... A little much. We help her as we can, when her car was ready I could not come help her right away due to my work. Ken, the owner just told he would drop the car - Truly - A favor nothing much. But he got it. Few weeks later our neighbor had another issue, and Kent was so reassuring and helpful. Yeah - Insurance money, blablabla, he could have just do the minimal. He went above and beyond. They are very respected around, so they are busy - That is the issue. However if you do not seek to abuse them - That business will always be kind, respectful and helpful. A true local business. No question asked.

Took my car here to get some body work done after an accident and came out with missing parts. Not sure why, but after paying upwards of $1.2K just to get it repaired, my car was still not good. The hood was VERY out of alignment with the body and blamed me saying I wanted cheap work after trying to sell me on replacement parts over $500 higher than what I found them for MYSELF. Now, I have to go through another headache just so my hood can stay closed while driving 30mph.

They have not yet completed the repairs however I can say that Ross Brakes's honesty and integrity is beyond reproach. A rival collision shop tried to total my car and strip it for parts without my knowledge. Thank God for RBC who had already given me a true estimate. No price gouging. Just honest people,honest work.
