The most abysmal service department on the planet. Completely ignored our warranty issue of safety equipment malfunctions. We went out on a limb and tried a Hyundai and this dealership! Complete mistake. Thank goodness the vehicle was in an accident and both are out of our lives forever. The worse business experience of my life. Back to Fords and our local Kent dealership.

I've had years of bad customer service through Marhoffer service center until today. Declan helped me for the first time this time around and he was incredibly helpful. He was very timely, a clear communicator, and answered all of my questions. My Subaru needed to be taken to a Subaru dealership for this particular problem and he did not charge me anything because there was no service provided at Marhoffer. In the past, I have been charged $169 for a diagnosis fee even if they provided no service. For the past 8 years or so I have always dreaded working with the Marhoffer service team as there have been many miscommunications and lack of quality customer service, however, I would certainly work with Declan again in the future if I need service through Marhoffer again.

I've had multiple issues with Marhofer's Service center in the past, but this was the last straw. I had my car in for brake service in March and now (a month later) the brakes went out while I was driving and nearly caused an accident. The rear brakes (which had rotors, pads, and calipers replaced in March) and hand brake had no resistance. The Service Center tried to return my car today, but when I asked them to double check the parking brake, the test drive confirmed the parking brake was still not working and hadn't been fixed. I will never buy another car from Marhofer. Don't get me wrong, I like the car I bought (Hyundai Elantra), it's served me well for years. This is solely because I refuse to deal with their service team anymore. I would rather scrap my car then give them another dime.

Three stars because the techs were very nice. They'd get the full 5. The "host" or "greater" was not. I didn't get his name. Or, if he told me, it quickly left my mind given his condescending tone and attitude. He talked down to me and as if I were a child that didn't comprehend what he was saying. I called him out on it and he made some analogy of "if you go to the doctors". Then, I go to get my car, and he's told his manager on me. Really? I told the manager it was fine because I didn't want to get into in front of the whole dept and just wanted to pickup my car. I've been in customer service for 18yrs. I usually give the benefit of the doubt to workers. But this guy was ridiculous.
