Recreational Vehicle Services Introduce

For RV owners in the Norwalk, Ohio area seeking maintenance or repair services for their recreational vehicles, Recreational Vehicle Services is a local establishment located at 499 Milan Ave, Norwalk, OH 44857, USA. They can be reached by phone at (419) 663-2131 or +1 419-663-2131.

As an "Auto Repair Stations" platform category, Recreational Vehicle Services primarily caters to the unique needs of recreational vehicles, which typically include motorhomes, travel trailers, fifth-wheel trailers, and campervans. These types of vehicles require specialized knowledge and equipment for their upkeep and repair, distinct from standard passenger vehicles. The services one might expect from such a facility generally encompass a wide range of mechanical and structural repairs, routine maintenance, and potentially specialized services related to the living quarters of an RV, such as plumbing, electrical systems, and appliance repair.

When considering any service provider for your valuable recreational vehicle, understanding the environment, the scope of services offered, and the experiences of previous customers is crucial. While specific details about the physical environment of Recreational Vehicle Services are not available through general online information, an auto repair station specializing in RVs would typically feature a spacious lot to accommodate large vehicles, bays equipped with lifts or pits suitable for RV dimensions, and specialized tools for handling the unique components of an RV, such as generators, slide-outs, and sophisticated electrical systems.

The core services provided by an RV repair center like Recreational Vehicle Services would generally include, but are not limited to: engine diagnostics and repair, transmission services, brake system maintenance and repair, tire services, suspension and steering repairs, and routine oil changes. Beyond the mechanical aspects, RVs also require specialized care for their living amenities. This can involve plumbing repairs for water systems, holding tanks, and toilets; electrical system diagnostics and repair for both the 12-volt DC and 120-volt AC systems; and servicing of onboard appliances such as refrigerators, air conditioners, furnaces, and water heaters. Furthermore, bodywork and structural repairs for the RV's exterior, including roof maintenance, slide-out repairs, and leak detection and sealing, are often vital services. Some RV repair facilities also offer winterization and de-winterization services, which are critical for protecting an RV's plumbing systems from freezing temperatures, and potentially storage solutions for RVs during off-seasons.

Regarding features that differentiate RV repair stations, many highlight certified technicians with specific RV training, state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment, and a commitment to using genuine parts. Facilities may also offer amenities like customer waiting areas, access to Wi-Fi, or shuttle services, though this information is not available for Recreational Vehicle Services specifically. Promotional information for such businesses often includes seasonal discounts on winterization or summer check-ups, loyalty programs, or warranties on parts and labor. Without direct promotional materials, it's not possible to list specific current promotions for Recreational Vehicle Services.

It is important for prospective customers to be aware of publicly available feedback when choosing a service provider. Customer reviews for Recreational Vehicle Services present significant concerns. Several reviews describe negative experiences related to work quality, completion timelines, and communication. One customer reported paying a substantial deposit for work that was allegedly never completed, resulting in significant damage to their vehicle and legal action. This individual claims that equipment was removed but not replaced, and the vehicle was left exposed to the elements, leading to further damage. Another customer described an incident after winterization services where a broken garden hose nozzle and a busted filter led to flooding and mold in their motorcoach basement, with the owner reportedly blaming the customer and "Mother Nature." These accounts suggest potential issues with service delivery, accountability, and customer satisfaction.

The reviews also mention difficulties with communication, including unreturned phone calls and missed appointments, and indicate that the owner, Ryan, has reportedly been involved in multiple court cases with other individuals. These detailed accounts from former customers highlight areas of concern regarding professionalism, reliability, and the overall customer experience at Recreational Vehicle Services. Prospective customers are strongly encouraged to consider these past experiences and conduct their own due diligence, perhaps by visiting the facility, requesting detailed written estimates, and thoroughly reviewing all terms and conditions before committing to any services.

Recreational Vehicle Services Customer Reviews

I went to this place in 2018 he was supposed to do the work for $15000. Gave ryan $5000. Deposit to do the work He destroyed my vehicle. He put me out of business. Never completed all the work and left my vehicle opened to the elements. Since 2018 went to go get my vehicle, he wouldn't allow me to get it I dumped so much money into this vehicle then it was almost completely destroyed. I got it back 2024 completely destroy? I would not do business with this guy ever. He took all my equipment out, never replaced took him to court, left him to do the work in one year. He did not finish that was the terms never fulfilled. The job took out half the equipment. Definitely, do not go to He's been to court multiple times on. Other people his wife would tell me to make appointment and they wouldn't return phone calls, and when he made appointment, they would not show

The owner Ryan was a very nice guy at first when we spoke. My wife and I Hired him to winterize our 600k motorcoach before we headed to Florida for the winter. He also offered to store our golf cart for us for free at his shop! Which I thought was cool. Although we have a bldg we keep it in anyhow. Fast forward to this upcoming start of our Camping season. We had just got back from Florida and went up to the campground to open up. Our garden hose nozzle was broken from him using it and we were flushing the antifreeze out of the system when he must’ve left a filter on and it busted and flooded out the basement of the coach! Noticed Mould yesterday! He wouldn’t replace the filter when the upper part of the filter was still screwed on! He blamed it on me and Mother Nature! What a loser! He obviously runs a BS Mickey Mouse business! I replaced it and wouldn’t hire him ever again!

Posting a review for my parents. Ryan was great! At first. Then the process turned into a nightmare. From delaying things because of wanting more money from insurance even though insurance needed more pictures first, to never answering our phone calls. He said that he couldn't get any work done if he spent all his time answering the phone. The whole process took months & when it was all said & done, he still managed to put the wrong awning on our camper. We're just thankful this process is done but we were very disappointed with the customer service

Ryan did an excellent job getting us back on the road in 3 hours with totally new brake system. He also gave helpful advice on the side. He made it so that we could keep on schedule. Highly recommend.

Very happy with the service we received. Just before a holiday weekend our RV ABS, back up camera and jacks quit working. A call was placed and he came out the next day and got it up and running. When we got back on the road the system went down again. After calling and talking to him we drove to his service center and he spent 2 hours working to find out what the electrical problem was. He was able to get the part that cost $8. I doubt very much that the problem would have been found if we had taken the RV to any of the big RV service centers. We were not charged for the 2 hours of time it took to find the problem or for the part. We were back on the road with only losing a day of our trip. Would highly recommend him.
