I originally went to Pep boys to diagnose a knocking/clattering sound at the back rear of my car. I told them I suspected my shocks and struts were old, but to let me know what the problem was before working on my car. I spoke with what I believe was the Service Manager, and he assured me they would diagnose prior to touching anything. A few hours later, I got a call to pick up my car. A mechanic named Manolo had replaced my shocks and struts, but failed to notify me until it was already done. After picking up my car and paying $600+, I noticed it was still clattering, so I took it to another mechanic for a second opinion. My other mechanic said that the actual problem is that the frame of my car is deteriorating from rust, missing a large portion, and it was hazardous to drive. That my suspension could completely fall out from under me while driving. He distinctly said that the mechanic at Pep Boys was wrong for not notifying me, considering the shocks/struts are in the immediate area of decay, and there's no way that they missed that. All of the people I spoke to at the office were more than friendly, and had great customer service, but I don't recommend this place at all for quality service. Please consider a smaller, local mechanic for diagnosing any noises or anything more than an oil change.

Big shoutout to Kamran and his team for the awesome service! They were super quick, kept me in the loop the whole time, and didn’t try to push anything I didn’t need. Honestly, it’s rare to find a garage this honest. Definitely recommend these guys

I ordered a regular spare tire for my 2021 certified Acura TLX on April 11, 2024. At this Cherry Hill, New Jersey location. The tire was the wrong one they ordered so I went back on the following Thursday April 18, 2024 and told manager Kamron to credit me back for the amount of $ 320.58 on my MasterCard he said that they will mail me a check instead of crediting my card it has been almost 30 days no refund and when I spoke to him in the last in last two weeks still no refund. I even called there one (800) customer service number they're non existent too. And when I took a look at my new rim that the tire was put on it was even all nicked up and scratched up too. I just filed a complaint with the Better business Bureau. This is totally unprofessional.
