Enough time has passed that I feel comfortable making this review. I never want to leave a review based on my emotions. This review is based on the many poor experiences I had with Penn Power. The Penn Power Group did quite a bit of maintenance on the one truck and trailer that I use day to day. I really trusted them, and so took my equipment there for probably about two years. For starters, they're expensive (again, I am a one truck operation). Once, I needed to use their road service. When I received the very large bill, I saw that they had charged me for tolls that were totally unnecessary. You wouldn't take the toll road to get from Cranberry to Pittsburgh. Another time they did a 10,000 service incorrectly and my truck wouldn't start. When I called them and told them this, they said to "bring it back...", something I've had to do more than once. Taking my only truck back from Pittsburgh to Zelienople and missing that day of work isn't easy to swallow if you only have one truck. The last straw was when they replaced a trailer wheel seal and didn't retighten the wheel nuts (see photo). This could have caused a catastrophic accident. At first, they tried to place the blame on me, saying that I must not have done a thorough pre and post trip inspection. But eventually they did accept responsibility, as they were the only technicians that worked on that tire. I wanted them, so badly, to do good work. But after two years of bad experiences I had to find another mechanic. I would not recommend.

You call for an after-hours service because the reefer is loaded and it is emergency. The moron working there wont even talk to you just saying call later like that would save the load. Avoid this place they don’t care about the load or your reefer

Cameron and the mobile team do a fantastic job of servicing our business, usually with last-minute emergency repairs. I cannot speak highly enough about these guys!

This shop is amazing. They do great work and are extremely well-priced....but one of the little things (that's really a big thing) is their driver lounge! Its so comfy, clean, and they have coffee, and ice water/machine, mini hot meal vending, which is such a breath of fresh air compared to 4 pop choices and the same 6 kinds of chips. It's much easier to wait here vs other shops.
