Paul's Discount Tires

Purchased a tire here on Fri AM. Drove on the highway and on Sat Am the tire exploded and disintegrated on the highway. Called and asked about a replacement, & was basically told too bad so sad!! His excuse, we don't know what you did to it!! Really? 24 hours later I possibly did something to the tire? Based on the pictures this tire was faulty! Not saying they don't sell good products--but I am saying his attitude about it was VERY unprofessional and matter of fact as if it was my fault. I am recommending to ANYONE that reads this go to Blue Ribbon in Mauldin and see DON! He is honest and stands by his work and products!

Absolutely amazing spot. I came in with a tire needing a patch. I left with the job done in less than 10 minutes and gave a $5 tip for a $15 charge. I wish I had known it would have been this easy here a month ago. Great service thank you!

For a hundred bucks I got a pair of like new tires for the front of my Kia, I'm on the road a lot and they saved me a bunch of money for not shabby ass used tires but a pair I was shocked to see for sale at a used tire place. Seriously two thumbs up and hope that more people use them so they can continue to grow and help even more of us in need of a little financial assistance these days.

Went to advanced auto parts to see if I needed a new battery, a woman checked it and said I needed a new starter instead. Said it would be $328 to order one. THEN conveniently recommended me to her boyfriend that works at Paul discount tires that could install it. I arrived and he Said he would have to place a new cooling system as well because of my type of vehicle and would be $300 to install it and an all day job also he would only take CASH. How convenient. Left went to good year they said nothing was wrong with my starter just needed a new battery for $238.

Just read the responses given from previous reviews....(updating January 23rd) MY POINT WAS MADE BY THE RESPONSE HE JUST GAVE! I went 3 days in a row to recieve service and I STILL had to go elsewhere to have the tire fixed! I'm not trying to harm your business sir.... I'm trying to prevent other customers from going thru the unfair financial burden that I went thru! I went 3 days in a row to have a tire fixed. I went as far as ordering a tire and the young lady left me sitting for 30-45 mins only to tell me she believes the people that they order from conveniently "forgot" to deliver the tire I needed. I only ordered this tire after paying to have my original tire plugged. The next day it was flat so I went back and suddenly they realize that it wasn't in need of a plug.... it was a separated belt! How did they not see this the first time inspecting and why charge me to plug a tire that was no good

Figured I would post up a honest review after my interactions with this business. On May 8th I took two of my brand new American racing wheels to this establishment with two brand new tires I had picked up one hour earlier. Upon arrival two young crew members were ambitious to mount and balance the tires on the new rims. The two crew members were astonished upon opening the brand new boxes the quality of the wheels. After 30 minutes of both crew members attempting to mount the tire, 18-in tire on an 18 in rim they stated they were having issues trying to get them mounted. I explained to them with them being aftermarket Rims they had to mount the tire upside down for it to work properly. At that point they were able to mount the tires on the wheels. Upon loading them in my truck I noticed that both Wheels were significantly gouged and damaged. I asked to speak to the owner and they stated the owner was at a festival and they could not reach him. But they were willing to waive the $50 fee and stated it was on the house that day. Also they stated after I pointed out the damage they were not liable for that. Upon looking at Google reviews I found the owner's phone number and reached out to him personally. The owner stated that he would meet me on Monday the 12th to speak about the damage and I told him that I would be at his location between 3:00 and 4:00. When I arrived his crew was extremely short with me and stated he took off somewhere. On May 8th after I'd spoken to the owner he initiated a text message thread upset that he did not think it was fair he should pay for my wheels after my Google review was posted which I removed and he was content with that. May the 12th I reached out to him after missing him at his shop and stated after the long weekend I had thought about the refurbishing of the wheels and did not agree that I should receive refurbished Wheels due to the damage his crew caused and that he should pay outright for the wheels. I even offered he could keep the original Wheels for resale as long as I got the new tires back in return and I would also produce the receipts to show that they were brand new. The owner stated that refurbishing the wheels was my only option take it or leave it. I respectfully declined and stated that wasn't proper customer service and that initiated him stating that small claims court would cost more than the wheels which at that point I felt threatened at the fact he brought up Court which is fine which I let him know Court would be fine with me and at that point he began texting stop harassing me to my phone number. He threatened to use the text thread he initiated as proof to the court that I was harassing him. I do not discourage anyone from visiting this establishment as I've seen on their professional awesome reviews they have done great by the Fountain Inn community but I figured I would post a honest review and also post supporting pictures of the damage done to my wheels and even today on the 12th I took pictures of the boxes my wheels came out of when they were mounted. Judging by the previous reviews I'm sure I will be called a keyboard warrior even though I attempted to speak with the owner face-to-face today and in no way shape or form is this degrading the owners experience or ability to run a business it's just questioning the customer service values and experience of his crew members.

Caught a nail in my tire of my 2023 White Rav 4 and plugged it. Was losing air quickly so I called Paul’s Tires after shopping around, couldn’t beat his price anywhere so he took a small deposit from me and got the tires shipped to his shop and onto my car same day! The owner Paul is super nice and very respectful, conducts business very well. I would definitely recommend his tire shop to anyone in the area. Let Paul hook you up, you won’t be displeased! Thank you again for the great customer service, will revisit your shop again if I ever need tires in the future.
