Owl's Auto Repair Introduce
Owl's Auto Repair is listed as an auto repair station located at 9107 TN-69, Lutts, TN 38471, USA. They can be contacted at (931) 724-4260 or their mobile number +1 931-724-4260. While categorized as an Auto Repair Station offering services and potentially goods related to vehicle maintenance and repair, the available customer reviews paint a concerning picture that potential local users should carefully consider.
The limited information available about the environment of Owl's Auto Repair comes solely from the negative experiences shared by customers. There are no descriptions of the shop's facilities, waiting area, or the professionalism of the physical space itself. Therefore, any assessment of the environment must be inferred from the reported quality of service and the interactions customers had with the mechanic, Bryan, who is mentioned in one of the reviews.
Based on the two detailed customer reviews, the services offered by Owl's Auto Repair reportedly include timing belt replacement, power steering pump diagnosis, alternator checks, and valve cover gasket replacement, as well as installation of customer-supplied parts (such as front-end components). However, the quality and completion of these services are severely called into question by the experiences shared. One customer paid for a timing belt job, but shortly after picking up their vehicle, they experienced engine clicking. Upon returning, they were told it was a power steering pump issue. Subsequently, their vehicle broke down on the road, initially suspected to be an alternator failure. Further investigation revealed that the timing belt, which had supposedly been replaced, was broken and wrapped around the motor's bottom, leading to bent valves. This customer vehemently disputes the mechanic's claim that the engine had locked up prior to the belt breaking, citing photographic evidence suggesting the mechanic may not have thoroughly inspected the issue. The customer was left with a ruined van and expressed extreme dissatisfaction with the lack of accountability and the poor quality of the initial repair.
The second detailed review echoes similar concerns about the quality of service and the shop's practices. This customer had valve covers and gaskets replaced, requested the installation of front-end parts they had purchased and left in the trunk, and sought resolution for a misfire and an oil change. Upon picking up the vehicle, they found it running even worse than before. Shockingly, all the new front-end parts, with the exception of a couple of control arm bushings, were still in the trunk. Additionally, clips and screws were reported as loose or missing, and pieces were broken and lying loose. The customer, who was initially inclined to recommend the shop based on a prior positive (but later retracted) sentiment about "friendly service and fun," expressed outrage at the incomplete and substandard work. Despite an initial bill of $800, they were charged $600 for a job that was far from complete and had seemingly caused further issues, necessitating additional expense to have another mechanic finish the work and correct the mistakes. This customer explicitly advised others: "DO NOT USE THIS PLACE PLEASE," indicating a severe lack of trust and satisfaction.
The features of Owl's Auto Repair, as perceived through these negative reviews, are unfortunately not positive. While one initial (and later retracted) comment mentioned "friendly service and fun" and "knowledgeable" staff, these are directly contradicted by the subsequent experiences. The recurring themes in the negative feedback point to a lack of competence in performing repairs correctly, a failure to complete jobs as agreed, misdiagnosis of problems, and a lack of accountability for faulty workmanship. The alleged failure to install customer-supplied parts and the potential misrepresentation of the cause of engine damage are particularly concerning features that potential customers should be aware of.
There is no information available regarding any promotional offers or special deals at Owl's Auto Repair. Given the serious nature of the complaints in the customer reviews, any potential promotions would likely be overshadowed by the significant risks associated with the quality of their work and their customer service practices.
In conclusion, while Owl's Auto Repair is listed as an Auto Repair Station in Lutts, TN, the overwhelmingly negative and detailed customer reviews raise significant red flags. These reviews allege instances of incorrect repairs leading to further vehicle damage, failure to complete contracted work, misdiagnosis of issues, and a lack of willingness to take responsibility for mistakes. Potential local users should exercise extreme caution when considering Owl's Auto Repair for their vehicle maintenance and repair needs. The experiences shared by these customers suggest a high risk of unsatisfactory service, potential damage to vehicles, and financial loss. It would be prudent to seek alternative auto repair services with more consistently positive and reliable customer feedback in the Lutts, TN area.

Owl's Auto Repair Customer Reviews
Will never use this place again! I had hoped that I found a good honest mechanic, but I sure was wrong. We paid for a timing belt job, the day after we picked it up, we heard clicking coming from the motor, I took it back and he said it was the power steering pump. About two weeks later we are left stranded on the road. We thought the alternator went out, we replaced our alternator, but we still couldn't start it. It was like the motor was locked up. Took off the timing belt cover and the timing belt was gone. I paid to have this done so this didn't happen. I was very upset. So I messaged Bryan and he said get it back over there. It was there 5 days and he tells me the motor locked up and that's why it broke. I told him I didn't believe it. I had to pay for another tow home. Well yesterday and today my brother worked on it, and we got pictures to prove we don't think he even looked at it because the broken timing belt was all wrapped around the bottom of the motor, and the motor is not locked up, but the valves are bent. We don't know how bad it really is inside the motor but this is all because someone didn't do the job right. I can forgive a mistake, but it's how you plan on making it right that matters. But he obviously doesn't plan to. I should sue is what I should do. Just beware everyone he's seems nice and smart, but apparently he doesn't back up his work. And now our van is ruined.

Friendly service and fun too. Knowledgeable and very reasonable prices. I would recommend Owls Auto Repair to anyone.Well guess what? DO NOT USE THIS PLACE PLEASE. I just had them put valve covers and gaskets on my car. Asked them to replace some front end part's that I had bought and was in the trunk. Had a misfire and needed oil change. Went to pick up car yesterday and it ran worse. Barely made it home.ALL THE NEW PARTS WERE STILL IN THE TRUNK WITH THE EXCEPTION OF A COUPLE OF CONTROL ARM BUSHINGS. CLIPS AND SCREWS WERE LOOSE AND MISSING. PIECES WERE BROKEN AND LAYING LOOSE. I AM PISSED AND I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND YOU USE THIS SHOP. ORIGINAL BILL WAS FOR 800.00 HE CHARGED ME 600.00 NOW IT'S GOING TO COST ME MORE TO HAVE SOMEONE TO FINNISH THE JOB AND CORRECT ALL THAT WAS LEFT UNDONE. I DON'T OFTEN COMPLAIN BUT THIS TIME I GOT SCREWED.
