O'Reilly Auto Parts Introduce

Located at 2732 Brodhead Rd, Aliquippa, PA 15001, USA, O'Reilly Auto Parts is a well-known retail establishment operating within the automotive aftermarket. While the provided information categorizes it under "Auto Repair Stations," O'Reilly Auto Parts primarily functions as an auto parts store, offering a wide array of goods for sale to both DIY mechanics and professional repair shops. This location can be contacted at (724) 788-2000 or via mobile at +1 724-788-2000, serving the Aliquippa community and surrounding areas.

As an auto parts store, O'Reilly's core business involves providing replacement parts, tools, accessories, and fluids necessary for vehicle maintenance, repair, and customization. This differs from a traditional "Auto Repair Station" that provides direct repair services. O'Reilly Auto Parts, like other major chains in its category, aims to be a convenient source for a vast inventory of automotive components, catering to a wide range of vehicle makes and models.

Regarding the environment of the Aliquippa O'Reilly Auto Parts store, one customer described it as having a "Good location, clean store still has the new feel in it." This suggests that the physical premises are generally well-maintained, modern, and conducive to a comfortable shopping experience. Typical O'Reilly Auto Parts stores are designed to be organized, with clearly marked aisles and product categories to help customers easily locate what they need. There's usually a dedicated counter area for customer service, part look-ups, and purchases. A clean and relatively new-looking store can enhance a customer's perception of the business's professionalism and attention to detail. However, the overall customer experience within this environment, as indicated by reviews, can be significantly impacted by staff interactions.

The services offered by O'Reilly Auto Parts are characteristic of a major automotive parts retailer. These services primarily revolve around the sale of goods and supporting customers in their auto maintenance and repair endeavors. Common services include:

  • Parts Sales: Providing a comprehensive inventory of automotive parts, including brakes, batteries, filters, belts, hoses, engine components, suspension parts, and more.
  • Accessory Sales: Offering car care products, detailing supplies, automotive tools, and various accessories.
  • Part Look-up and Information: Assisting customers in identifying the correct parts for their specific vehicle make, model, and year, often utilizing extensive databases.
  • Diagnostic Tool Loaner Program: Many O'Reilly locations offer a free loaner program for specialized tools, such as diagnostic code readers, enabling customers to perform their own diagnostics.
  • Battery Testing and Charging: Providing in-store battery testing and charging services.
  • Wiper Blade Installation: Often offering free installation of wiper blades purchased in-store.
  • Fluid Recycling: Accepting used motor oil, transmission fluid, and sometimes other automotive fluids for recycling.
While they sell parts that enable repairs, customers typically perform the actual vehicle work themselves or take the parts to a separate auto repair station. The effectiveness of these services heavily relies on the knowledge and helpfulness of the sales associates.

The features of O'Reilly Auto Parts, as a national chain, typically include a vast inventory, competitive pricing, and widespread accessibility. However, the provided customer reviews for this specific Aliquippa location highlight certain features, both positive and negative, that shape the local user experience. Positively, the "Good location" and "clean store" contribute to a convenient and pleasant physical environment. The availability of a wide range of parts, as expected from a large retailer, is a fundamental feature. On the less positive side, a significant feature, as indicated by the reviews, is a variability in staff knowledge and customer service. One customer expressed frustration, stating the "lady working the counter doesn't understand basics and couldn't answer simple in stock question," and "tried to argue about her computer being right and talk bad about me in front of another customer." This points to a critical issue with staff competency and professional conduct. Another review explicitly warns, "Do not go to Aliquippa O'reillys and deal with Joseph," citing a refusal to "take a moment to match it" when asked about a brake line not in the system, attributing it to "ignorance and laziness." This suggests a potential lack of problem-solving initiative or willingness to assist with non-standard requests, which is a significant drawback for customers seeking specific or unusual parts. The overall feature that emerges is a potential inconsistency in the quality of customer interaction and technical support from staff members, despite the physical store's positive attributes.

In terms of promotional information, O'Reilly Auto Parts, as a national brand, typically engages in extensive advertising through various media channels, promoting their wide selection, competitive prices, and "Parts Pros" expertise. For the Aliquippa location specifically, the customer reviews serve as a very direct form of public messaging, albeit with significant negative implications. While a clean store and good location are inherent promotional aspects, the critical feedback regarding staff interactions can severely undermine these positives. The first review highlights a lost "$,1800 hundred dollar sale" to a competitor due to a "rude" employee, which is a powerful negative promotion. The second review explicitly states, "Moving forward if we see Joseph working, my company and it's associates will take it's business to Coraopolis," indicating a direct loss of significant commercial business due to unsatisfactory service. Such reviews act as a strong deterrent, warning potential customers about specific challenges they might face. For the local user, this unfiltered feedback becomes a critical piece of "promotional information," influencing their decision to visit this particular store. In this context, the strongest promotional message for this specific O'Reilly Auto Parts location, based on the provided data, is the need for improved staff training in product knowledge, problem-solving, and customer service to align with the positive physical environment of the store and the broader brand's reputation.

O'Reilly Auto Parts Customer Reviews

Good location, clean store still has the new feel in it. But lady working the counter doesn't understand basics and couldn't answer simple in stock question. I asked for specific battery level in specific group size she didn't understand and pressed wanting to know what vehicle so gave the vehicle info knowing I've already modified the system and use of my vehicle reiterated to her what I wanted, another sales member who I spoke to on the phone earlier came out understood what I was asking checked it was gone from when we talked on the phone. No big I'll get the next grade up but then she tried to argue about her computer being right and talk bad about me in front of another customer who I know personally and the team member who helped me so I left. AutoZone got the $1,800 hundred dollar sale with the rest of the parts I needed because she wanted be rude over a $60 difference in battery that I wanted. Believe it or not some customers still know their vehicles.

Do not go to Aliquippa O'reillys and deal with Joseph. Flat out told me he couldn't do anything when asked about matching up a piece of brake line. We do tens of thousands a year with O'reillys and have always been treated with respect until this time. This attributes to the stereotype of auto parts sales people. If it's not in the system he refuses to take a moment to match it. Moving forward if we see Joseph working, my company and it's associates will take it's business to Coraopolis where we aren't brushed aside due to ignorance and laziness.

Probably one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a Parts Store. I went into check if they had a copy of a receipt for brake calipers that a shop purchased for my car. The girl at the front was extremely argumentative, kept trying to tell me that the problem i was having was not my brake calipers. They didn’t even want to look up the receipt. I have a note on a shops paperwork that states my new calipers were leaking from the Piston. (brake calipers) I will never be back to this store and I will tell all my friends in to never visit this location. Horrible horrible customer service. They need to fire the girl at the front, it’s no way to treat a customer.

I have tried three times to set up my account here. First they told me they call me the next day when it processed. I go in because I got no call, and they don’t even remember talking to me and they all insulted “Rob” the guy who helped me, saying that’s where it went wrong. Unacceptable. The next day I go in and try again, they say I’m not even able to set up a superior account for discounts, the opposite of what I was told the day before. Instead they set me up with an account and told me to go to firstcallonline website the next day. STILL NOTHING - they don’t even have record of my email…. I have no idea why I’m getting a his run around from this store, or if they even know what they’re doing. But I won’t be going back. I’ll pay more somewhere else before I’ll go back here. Edit. I’m dropping this to a 1 star instead of a two star. I went in to this store again, randomly, I didn’t speak to ANYONE AT ALL… I overheard the two guys there literally talking about me and how I left this review. This was WEEKS later. So they either recognized me and started talking or they were coincidentally talking about me as I walked in. Either way this is completely unprofessional and I will go out of my way to tell everyone about it and avoid this store. Completely unacceptable.
