O'Reilly Auto Parts Introduce

For the residents of Shelbyville, Tennessee, O'Reilly Auto Parts, situated at 2225 N Main St, Shelbyville, TN 37160, USA, serves as a local branch of a well-known national chain within the Auto Repair Stations category. While primarily an auto parts retailer, O'Reilly Auto Parts aims to provide the necessary components for vehicle maintenance and repair, positioning itself as a key resource for both professional mechanics and individual car owners. You can contact this Shelbyville location at (931) 225-3020 or their mobile number, +1 931-225-3020, for inquiries about parts availability, store hours, or other services.

Customer reviews for this specific O'Reilly Auto Parts location in Shelbyville present a mixed perspective, highlighting both exceptional customer service in certain instances and dissatisfaction in others. One highly positive review expresses immense gratitude for the assistance received from employees Ricky, Jacoby, and Josh. The customer recounts calling the store numerous times on a Saturday in search of a radiator and other parts for a 1997 K1500 truck. The reviewer emphasizes that these three individuals went above and beyond, working until the 9 pm closing time to ensure the customer could get their vehicle moving again. This level of dedication and effort in assisting a customer in need is a significant testament to their commitment to service, even when faced with challenging situations.

The same reviewer explicitly praises the "EXCEPTIONAL customer service" provided by these employees, even when dealing with customers who might not be the most knowledgeable about auto parts (as the reviewer humorously includes themselves). The reviewer expresses sincere gratitude and hopes for positive karma for the employees, highlighting the profound impact of their assistance. This anecdote suggests that at least some members of the team at this Shelbyville O'Reilly's location are dedicated to providing outstanding support and going the extra mile for their customers.

In contrast, another review presents a negative experience, questioning the necessity of this particular O'Reilly's location given that Shelbyville already has another O'Reilly's store. This reviewer claims that the existing location accepts returns on all new parts and employs "trained people that give a crap" who focus on providing the needed parts rather than aggressively upselling unnecessary items. This negative feedback suggests a potential inconsistency in service quality or store policies between different O'Reilly's locations within the same town, or perhaps a specific negative interaction at the N Main St store.

Considering these contrasting viewpoints, the environment at the O'Reilly Auto Parts on N Main St in Shelbyville might be perceived differently by different customers. The positive review suggests a helpful and dedicated team willing to work diligently to meet customer needs. The negative review, however, implies a potentially less satisfactory experience, possibly involving staff perceived as untrained or overly focused on upselling. It's important for local users to consider both perspectives when evaluating this store.

As a standard O'Reilly Auto Parts store, the services primarily revolve around the sale of a wide range of automotive parts, tools, and accessories. These typically include components for various makes and models of cars and trucks, covering maintenance (filters, oil, fluids), repair (brakes, starters, alternators, etc.), and performance upgrades. They often offer services such as battery testing, wiper blade installation, and fluid disposal. Given the positive review mentioning a radiator, it's clear they stock or can order significant replacement parts.

Features of O'Reilly Auto Parts as a national chain often include a vast inventory system that allows for parts to be ordered and shipped between stores, potentially providing access to a wider selection than a smaller local store might carry. They often have online resources for checking parts availability and specifications. The positive review highlights the dedication of specific employees as a key feature of this particular location. The negative review, however, implies a perceived lack of training or customer focus in some staff members, which would be a negative feature.

Promotional information for O'Reilly Auto Parts is typically managed at the corporate level and can include seasonal discounts, mail-in rebates on specific products, and loyalty programs for frequent customers. Local users in Shelbyville can check the official O'Reilly Auto Parts website or inquire in-store about any current promotions or their loyalty program to potentially save money on their purchases. The positive review does not mention any specific promotions but focuses on the exceptional service received, which can be considered an intangible benefit.

For local users in Shelbyville, TN, the O'Reilly Auto Parts at 2225 N Main St offers a convenient location to source a wide variety of automotive parts. The positive customer experience regarding the dedication and helpfulness of some staff members, particularly Ricky, Jacoby, and Josh, suggests that excellent service can be found at this store. However, the negative review indicating potential issues with staff training and upselling should also be taken into consideration. It might be beneficial for customers to interact with the staff directly and assess their individual experience.

When needing auto parts, especially in urgent situations like the radiator replacement described, the willingness of the staff to go the extra mile can be invaluable. Local users who value strong customer support might find this location beneficial, particularly if they encounter the helpful employees mentioned in the positive review. However, it would also be wise to be aware of the potential for inconsistent service or upselling, as mentioned in the negative feedback.

In conclusion, O'Reilly Auto Parts on N Main St in Shelbyville, TN, provides a local option for purchasing a wide range of auto parts. While one customer review praises the exceptional dedication and service of specific employees, another expresses dissatisfaction regarding staff training and sales practices. Local users may find the store to be a valuable resource, especially if they encounter the helpful staff members. However, it is advisable to be informed and proactive in ensuring they receive the specific parts they need without unnecessary add-ons. Checking for corporate-level promotions and the loyalty program could also provide added value for frequent purchases.

O'Reilly Auto Parts Customer Reviews

I cannot express my gratitude for these folks enough. We called the store probably 30 times Saturday the 8th looking for a radatior & other parts for my 97 K1500. When I tell you without Ricky, Jacoby, and Josh I would still be stuck where I was. All the way until 9pm when they closed they did everything possible to get me movin. These guys provide EXCEPTIONAL customer service, even when dealing with not the brightest of people (myself) I hope yall get the good karma coming your way & more. I am truly thankful for yall.

Waste of retail space when Shelbyville already has a great O’Reilly’s location that accepts returns on All new parts! And actually have trained people that give a crap other than just people that clock in and try to upsell you everything besides what you need.

Had some rotors turned by this store. They didnt do the fronts because of how close they were to discard thickness which is fine. However, the rears were supposed to be good for resurfacing. When i got the rears back, he said he wasnt going to charge me and that i should just get all new rotors. Rotors, when resurfaced, should have a generally smooth finish across the entire surface where the brake pads meet the rotor. He proceeds to tell me that my brake caliper pistons are out of alignment and pushing my brake pads unevenly and that my brake pads are wearing funky. I got home to double check what he was saying and my brake pads were perfectly flat, not showing uneven wear. All brake caliper pistons were functioning as they should. My issue, is that i was not charged for the rears to be resurfaced because the worker messed up my rear rotors. the outer inch of surface has an extremely rough and very textured finish. It seems like the cutter but on their machine is very dull. Good thing i got it done for free because i spent $230+ on all new rotors the whole way around. Good looking out Oriellys.
