NEW ROADS COLLISION CENTER Introduce

Welcome to NEW ROADS COLLISION CENTER, an auto repair station located at 24680 Telegraph Rd, Southfield, MI 48033, USA. Specializing in collision repair, NEW ROADS COLLISION CENTER aims to restore vehicles to their pre-accident condition. Serving the Southfield, MI area, the center can be reached at (248) 665-8082 or +1 248-665-8082. Understanding the importance of reliable and efficient collision repair services after an accident, we aim to provide local users with a comprehensive overview based on available customer feedback to help them make informed decisions.

Information regarding the specific environment of NEW ROADS COLLISION CENTER is not detailed online. However, collision centers typically feature a workshop equipped with the necessary tools and technology for assessing and repairing vehicle damage resulting from accidents. This includes areas for bodywork, painting, and potentially frame straightening. The focus is generally on the functionality and equipment required for effective collision repair.

NEW ROADS COLLISION CENTER primarily offers collision repair services. Based on the limited information and customer reviews available, the services provided may include:

  • Collision Damage Assessment: Evaluating the extent of the damage to provide repair estimates.
  • Bodywork and Dent Repair: Repairing dents, scratches, and other body damage caused by collisions.
  • Frame Straightening: Addressing structural damage to the vehicle's frame.
  • Painting and Refinishing: Matching and applying paint to repaired areas to restore the vehicle's appearance.
  • Parts Replacement: Replacing damaged parts with new or aftermarket components.
  • Potentially other general auto repair services: One review mentions brake issues, suggesting they might address other mechanical concerns identified during the repair process.

Features of NEW ROADS COLLISION CENTER, as perceived through customer reviews, present a mixed perspective:

  • Potential for Friendly Service: One reviewer noted that the staff was "nice," and specifically praised Tyrone Simmons for providing "outstanding customer service," describing him as "personable" and "always happy to help."
  • Potentially Faster Repair Times (in some cases): Another reviewer highlighted a positive experience with a bumper repair completed within two days, contrasting this with longer timelines experienced elsewhere.
  • Potential Cost Savings: The same positive review mentioned a significant cost saving compared to a dealership's recommended collision shop, suggesting competitive pricing in some instances.

However, the reviews also indicate potential drawbacks:

  • Significant Delays in Repair Times: One customer reported a two-month repair period after an accident, with repeated assurances of a shorter timeframe that were not met.
  • Lack of Proactive Communication: The same negative review mentioned a failure to communicate known issues (bad brakes) to the customer before returning the vehicle.
  • Customer Dissatisfaction with Prioritization and Care: The overall sentiment of one negative review was that the customer's situation did not feel like a priority, and they did not feel "in good hands."
  • Potential Inconvenience Regarding Transportation: One reviewer noted that on one occasion, a ride back home after dropping off the car was not provided, requiring alternative arrangements.

The available customer feedback paints a somewhat inconsistent picture of NEW ROADS COLLISION CENTER. While one reviewer had a significantly positive experience with quick bumper repair, friendly service from Tyrone Simmons, and cost savings, another detailed a very negative experience characterized by lengthy delays, poor communication, and a lack of perceived care. It's important for local users to consider both perspectives when evaluating this auto repair station.

Currently, no specific promotional information for NEW ROADS COLLISION CENTER is available in the provided text. Potential customers are encouraged to contact the center directly at (248) 665-8082 or +1 248-665-8082 to inquire about current offers, repair estimates, and service timelines. Given the contrasting customer experiences, it may be beneficial to discuss expectations clearly and inquire about their repair process and communication practices before committing to their services.

In conclusion, NEW ROADS COLLISION CENTER in Southfield, MI, offers collision repair services and has received varied feedback from customers. While some have experienced friendly service, potentially faster repair times for certain types of damage, and cost savings, others have reported significant delays, poor communication, and overall dissatisfaction. Local users considering NEW ROADS COLLISION CENTER should weigh these experiences and contact the center directly to discuss their specific needs and expectations. It may be prudent to inquire about repair timelines, communication protocols, and any guarantees offered before entrusting their vehicle for collision repairs. The presence of other collision shops in the Telegraph Road area, as noted by one reviewer, suggests that local users have alternative options to consider based on their individual priorities and research.

NEW ROADS COLLISION CENTER Customer Reviews

Go somewhere else. It took two months for the collision shop to repair my car after an accident. Every time I checked in, they would tell me 1 to 2 weeks, they didn't have parts, someone's on vacation, etc. After I got my car back, I started having break issues. They told me they were knew my breaks were bad, but didn't feel it was necessary to let me know. Just a heads up would have been nice. It was overall a really disappointing experience. At no point did I feel like my situation was a priority for them or like I was in good hands. Telegraph is lined with collision shops. Don't pick this one. Two stars because they were nice, I guess.

Tyrone Simmons provides outstanding customer service. He's personable and always seems happy to help you. I've had my cars serviced there twice I and highly recommend them. They don't take forever to repair your car or jack up the repair price like our dealership recommended collision shop. I've been there twice and they did a great job, repairing my bumper within 2 days. The only thing I didn't like was the second time they didnt have a car to take me back home. But my husband came and took me back. So be sure you have a ride back home and then to pick up your car when it's done. The money you save will be worth it though. I paid $500.00 less there than at Suburban Honda.

Very poor communication from this place. I scrapped my car there after getting in a collision and they informed me that when it got picked up/sold for parts, I would receive a cut of the check. However months went by and I never heard from them again. I finally called them recently to see the deal and they feigned ignorance and said that they didn't have my vehicle and likely scrapped it, but that it cost $25 a day to store so they money they got from it essentially went towards that. This is something they never told us up front and is a very dishonest business practice. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
