Murphy father & son automotive

I can’t say enough about how Murphy father & son automotive went out of the way to help us. We are from Birmingham Alabama coming home from lovely trip to Bryson City. After being broke down on side road and tow trucking taking us around Bryson City Auto repair places no one had time to help us. We bought a new battery and headed out. We got as far as Murphy. I started calling repair shop. First one said can’t help to after Christmas. Then we were Referred to Murphy father & son automotive. We charged battery enough ( we thought) to make to his shop. The car die one block away up a large hill. My husband walked that hill and came back with Robert son and took the battery and charged it up to get back to shop. They order us a new Alternator that would be in the next day. Robert even drove us to our hotel for night and pick us up next day. The customer service was outstanding! He was fast and very efficient, and I feel like he went out of his way To help us It was a reasonable price! You need an auto repair please go see Robert and his son’s. Thank you again.

Drove up from Florida and noticed an oil leak under my truck, u thought it was the differential. Also had a missing fire so I brought the truck in. They found the leak which turn out to be oil from a loose filter and fixed the misfire. Prices were good and they fixed my truck fast. I would definitely use them again in the future.

I had the top of my motor totally done. Truck kept on overheating, constantly. Had to add water, just got it still overheating. He didn't honor the warranty. Charge me 160 and it's still overheating. Got stuck twice. On the way home, no antifreeze. Still overheating. Do not bring your car here or truck very unprofessional

My car had broken down over the weekend, and everyone was telling me it could be my transmission. Naturally, I was terrified. Murphy Father and Son was the only shop between Andrews and Murphy that was open during that week, could see my car within the same week, and did transmission work. The day after I was able to get it towed to their shop, they called me explaining that it wasn't my transmission (praise!), but the CV axel was broken. They were able to order a new part which arrived the next day and was fixed that day as well! They were very nice and able to explain what was wrong with my car in a way that I could understand because I hardly know anything about cars. They work fast, work well, and it's very affordable. Long story short, I highly recommend!!

We needed someone local to change the oil on our 2020 BMW, these guys were awesome. Super friendly and professional. This will be our new go to place with our car. Highly recommend.
