Victor repaired our travel trailer that broke down on the side of the road 40 miles outside of Bakersfield. He replaced a broken leaf spring and replaced two flat tires and got us back on the road in the same day. He was professional, communicated well with us, charged fair prices, and did good work. We are very grateful for Victor. Without him we would still be waiting for our trailer to be fixed.

Seems like a lot of these guys around this area don’t like to take on jobs. Maybe the money is so good in CA that they can turn paying customers away..? Simple clutch brake fix and got turned away. Maybe my skin is a little too fair for them 🤷🏼🥴 who know, who cares. Appreciate ya anyway fellas

I recently worked with Victor due to a broken tensioner bolt on my 1996 E150 van, and I'm left with mixed feelings about the experience. Positive Aspects: - Victor was friendly and responsive throughout the process, which I appreciated given the urgency of my situation, as my family and I were staying in a hotel and hoped to leave by the next morning. Issues Faced: - Victor struggled with the repair. He attempted to remove the remainder of the bolt, eventually resorting to drilling a larger hole and planning to use a helicoil. Complications: - Unfortunately, there was no appropriately sized helicoil, necessitating the replacement of the bracket Victor had drilled into. - No part stores carried that bracket and it was ~$250 on ebay before shipping. Resolution Efforts: - Victor gave me the part information and I personally found a replacement bracket at a pick-and-pull, which Victor then installed. I was able to remove the bracket in approximately 1 hour (I am not a mechanic). Victor was very helpful in guiding me through the removal process and I could not have done it without him coaching me over the phone. Pricing Concerns: I was billed for 4 hours of labor at $150 per hour. Given the complications, my own efforts in sourcing a part, and the overall outcome, this charge felt unjust. Reflecting on Competence and Decision-Making: While I believe Victor's intentions were good, his decision-making, particularly drilling a significantly larger hole without ensuring the availability of the correct helicoil, raises questions for me about his technical competence. In my opinion, if Victor had first tried to determine whether the proper helicoil was available and saw that there was not one, he would have still been able to drill a smaller hole and then performed a traditional tapping to cut new threads, and would have thereby salvaged the $250, difficult to replace, bracket. But because he didn't, the hole he made was too big to be tapped. The bracket was aluminum so welding the hole shut, drilling, and re-tapping was not feasible. Final Thoughts: I understand that vehicle repairs can be complex and challenging. However, the outcome and the cost of this service have left me feeling frustrated. My experience with Victor was a mix of good intentions met with questionable technical decisions and an unexpectedly high final cost for what seems like a relatively straightforward auto repair.

We had Freightliner Cascade broke down in Delano CA with Started Blocked Shift to Neutral issue, these guys came in 45 minutes, fixed as much as they can and showed us whats the problem and what needs to be replaced. I guess these guys are decent, legit, professional and price was really reasonable. I like them. Thanks guys

Victor Does not know what he’s doing and doesn’t do his job right. I wouldn’t recommend him. He still needs to reset some sensors and finish programming my CPC but he don’t answer.
