Customer service was amazing! They were really nice and always made sure you feel heard. When you call for updates they’re always nice and get you the information as soon as possible. And if you ever have any issues afterward they are fast at getting it looked at!

UPDATE: They made me limp my car to the shop after accusing me of my engine light as soon as I left. My car is now TOTALED and needs a new engine because they made me drive it in this condition. Do not trust these people. My car was perfectly fine until I took it here. It has not been the same since. I wasn't going to leave a review but after getting stranded in the snow I figured I should warn people. The first time I went they were great. Then the second time I went they messed up a sensor, tried to blame it on me, even though I had been there frequently and spent a lot of money with them they could never remember me. They ignored my phone calls when I was just trying to get an update on the car and lied and said they were calling my boyfriend, they weren't. Wouldn't recommend especially if you are a woman.

I have been a long-time customer at Firestone. However, I recently had an unsatisfactory experience with them, and lost hours of my time because they couldn't solve for a battery issue (really!). I was randomly referred to the auto shop and was really impressed. They were knowledgeable, genuine and fair priced. I am now a Firestone refugee. You should check these blokes out!

Always a great experience with these professionals for car service and oil change needs. One perk with the oil change is a free car wash right next door to the business. The owner and his staff always go above and beyond and explain things clearly. One of the only places I’ve found who have no trouble working on European vehicles!! Highly recommend, I can’t say enough good things about the staff and their professionalism!

Honest people can’t recommend them enough. My truck started leaking antifreeze and overheated on us while driving back home from Tennessee. Saw their reviews and called them. They got us in quickly. They addressed the issue immediately and the best part they let us inside the shop and showed me and my husband the point of failure they repaired the car and we were on our way safely in about 3 hours. I called around to compare prices and they were $173 cheaper than the cheapest price I got. Great people, great service, highly recommended. I can’t say enough how grateful we are to come across such people. Thank you

We were getting absolutely pummeled with heavy rain back home in central Ohio, so my wife and I decided on a last-minute getaway to Detroit with the kids. We booked a room at a Hampton Inn in Monroe so the kids could swim, and we had plans to attend our very first Detroit Tigers game the next day. On the drive up, I started noticing some troubling issues with the brakes. My wife called the shop at 4:00 PM on a Saturday (just an hour before they closed) and the person on the phone assured us they’d at least take a look to see if the car was safe to drive. I dropped my wife and kids off at the hotel to unpack and enjoy dinner while I headed over to the shop. The team got my car in right away and quickly diagnosed the problem—brake pads worn down to the metal and rotors in very rough shape. Sam and his crew gave me a fair quote for a full set of front and rear pads and rotors, along with an itemized invoice and warranty info. They got straight to work and had me back on the road in no time. Thanks to them, I rejoined my family with a safe vehicle and peace of mind. We went on to enjoy every part of our trip: swimming, authentic Detroit-style pizza at Buddy's, and watching the Tigers win in walk-off fashion! Huge shoutout to Sam and his team for stepping up when we needed help the most. With everything closed on Sundays, I truly don’t know what we would’ve done without them. Honest, fast, and dependable-- This is the kind of service that earns people’s business.

This was my first time going to Monroe auto repair and the staff was extremely helpful and got my new brakes on very quickly. The price couldn’t have been better. I will continue to go there for any repairs I need. They definitely earned a new customer today.

This is a added review due to this shops lack of ethics. When I came to grab my truck due to the outrageous price quote for a new transmission and the staff dragging their feet on diagnosing my vehicle, I found it odd that my truck was in the same exact spot where I left it. I thought to myself that there was no way they they just pretended to look at it and then charge me $75 just by the issues I told them I was having. I'm now 90% sure that this is exactly what they did. I took my truck to another shop down the street and they told me I didn't need a transmission. The shop down the street replaced my transmission fluid filter and flushed the fluids. That fixed the issue plain and simple. Monroe Auto repair is as dishonest as it gets. Not only are they dishonest, they will charge you more than anyone in town. Enjoy that $75 diagnostic fee, you'll never get another cent from me again. Real mechanics don't charge for looking at your vehicles, their work and honesty pays for itself. This shop is absolute trash.
