McPherson Enterprises LLC Introduce

For commercial truck drivers and logistics companies operating in and around Butler, Indiana, and even as far as New Haven, McPherson Enterprises LLC positions itself as a critical service provider within the "Auto Repair Stations" category, specifically specializing in mobile semi-truck repair. This distinction is vital, as their primary service model involves bringing the repair shop to the client, a necessity for heavy-duty vehicles that experience breakdowns on the road. Located at 3388 IN-1, Butler, IN 46721, USA, and available via phone at (260) 570-0337 or mobile +1 260-570-0337, McPherson Enterprises LLC aims to offer immediate assistance for commercial vehicle emergencies.

Operating as a mobile service means they don't have a traditional fixed garage environment for customers to visit in the same way a standard auto repair shop would. Instead, their "environment" is wherever a semi-truck needs assistance, whether that's on the side of a freeway or at a truck stop. This inherent mobility is a significant feature that defines their service delivery.

Environment and Service Model

Unlike conventional "Auto Repair Stations" that operate from a static garage, McPherson Enterprises LLC functions as a mobile repair service. This means their operational environment is dynamic and shifts based on the location of the breakdown. Their service vehicle would be equipped with the necessary tools, diagnostic equipment, and often a limited stock of common parts to perform roadside repairs. The convenience of bringing the repair to the disabled vehicle is their core value proposition, minimizing downtime and the need for expensive towing for heavy-duty trucks.

The address provided, 3388 IN-1, Butler, IN 46721, USA, likely serves as their base of operations, where they store larger equipment, manage inventory, and handle administrative tasks. However, for the customer, the service takes place on-site at the truck's location. This model is particularly beneficial for semi-trucks, which are difficult and costly to transport to a traditional shop.

Services Offered and Goods for Sale

As a mobile semi-truck repair specialist within the "Auto Repair Stations" category, McPherson Enterprises LLC would typically offer a range of services tailored to the unique needs of heavy-duty commercial vehicles. These services and potential "goods for sale" (in the form of parts used in repairs) generally include:

  • Emergency Roadside Repairs: Their primary service is responding to breakdowns, aiming to get semi-trucks operational again quickly. This can include fixes for issues like coolant leaks, electrical problems, minor engine malfunctions, air system issues, and more.
  • APU (Auxiliary Power Unit) Repair: As specifically mentioned in one review, they handle repairs for APUs, which are essential for truck drivers to power climate control and appliances during rest periods.
  • Diagnostic Services: Using specialized diagnostic tools to identify the root cause of mechanical or electrical failures in semi-trucks.
  • Brake System Repairs: Addressing issues with air brakes, brake chambers, slack adjusters, etc., which are critical for truck safety.
  • Tire Services: While not explicitly mentioned, many mobile repair services offer tire changes or minor tire repairs for commercial vehicles.
  • Fluid Leaks: Identifying and fixing leaks from various systems, including coolant, oil, hydraulic, and fuel lines.
  • Battery Boosts & Replacements: Providing jump starts or replacing batteries on-site.
  • Basic Electrical System Repairs: Troubleshooting and fixing issues with lights, wiring, and other electrical components.
  • Temporary Fixes to Ensure Safety: As highlighted in a positive review, they can perform repairs to get a truck "off of the Freeway somewhere safe" even if a complete permanent fix requires a specialized part not on hand.

Regarding "goods for sale," this typically refers to the parts necessary to complete the repairs, such as hoses, clamps, filters, minor electrical components, and fluids. Given the mobile nature, their on-hand inventory would be limited to common, frequently needed parts, with more specialized components needing to be acquired from suppliers.

Distinguishing Features and Customer Experience

The customer reviews for McPherson Enterprises LLC provide a stark contrast, highlighting both the potential strengths and significant weaknesses of their service. These insights are crucial for understanding their operational features:

  • Mobile Convenience: The most significant distinguishing feature is their mobile service model. For truckers, having repairs done on the side of the road is invaluable, saving time and money on towing. One positive review explicitly states, "If you are in need of MOBILE SEMI REPAIR - STOP and call this Company."
  • Prompt Response Time: The positive review praises their quick response, noting they were "able to be at the Truck in less than an hour." This rapid deployment is a critical feature for emergency roadside services.
  • Efficiency in Getting Trucks Moving: In one instance, they "had the Truck on its way in less then 2 Hours," demonstrating efficiency in addressing urgent breakdown needs.
  • Fair Pricing (Contested): The positive review mentions "Quality Service @ A Fair Price!" suggesting that for some customers, their costs are reasonable for the convenience and speed. However, the negative review's outcome (paying for a failed repair) directly contradicts the "fair price" sentiment from the customer's perspective.
  • Owner's Approach (Contested): The negative review critically describes a situation where the technician "quickly took off" after payment, and subsequently, there was a complete lack of response to calls and texts regarding a failed repair. This suggests significant issues with accountability and follow-up in some cases. Conversely, the positive review highlights polite and prompt phone interaction, suggesting a different experience in initial contact.
  • Quality of Workmanship (Contested): The primary conflict in reviews revolves around the quality of repair. The negative review explicitly states the hose "wasn't on correctly and blew off" and that "a bunch of bolts were left off and some were loose," leading to the truck needing repairs at another shop. This raises serious concerns about the thoroughness and reliability of their work in certain instances. The positive review, however, implies the repair was sufficient to get the truck safely off the freeway, indicating a functional, if not complete, solution.
  • Parts Availability (Acknowledged): The positive review acknowledges that they "did not stock the Part that was needed to completely finish the repair," which is often understood for a mobile service. This suggests transparency about on-hand inventory limitations.

The varied experiences indicate that while McPherson Enterprises LLC can provide rapid, convenient mobile repair and get trucks out of immediate danger, there may be inconsistencies in the thoroughness of their repairs and their post-service accountability, particularly with regard to ensuring lasting solutions.

Promotional Information

Based on their service model and the customer feedback, McPherson Enterprises LLC's promotional efforts would likely focus on:

  • Emphasis on Mobile & Emergency Service: Their primary marketing message would revolve around being available for "MOBILE SEMI REPAIR" and "roadside assistance," highlighting their ability to come to the customer. This would prominently feature their phone numbers: (260) 570-0337 and +1 260-570-0337.
  • Quick Response Times: Promoting their ability to arrive and get trucks moving quickly, as highlighted in the positive review.
  • Targeted Advertising to Truckers: Advertising in truck stops, trucking forums, online directories for heavy-duty repair, and possibly through dispatcher networks.
  • Online Presence: Maintaining an online listing (e.g., Google My Business) with their address (3388 IN-1, Butler, IN 46721, USA) and contact information is crucial for visibility, especially for drivers searching for roadside assistance.
  • Focus on Convenience and Downtime Reduction: Marketing the benefit of avoiding towing costs and minimizing the time a truck is out of service.
  • Word-of-Mouth (Mixed Impact): While positive experiences can lead to strong word-of-mouth referrals within the trucking community, negative experiences, especially those involving lack of follow-up, can severely damage reputation and lead to negative word-of-mouth.

McPherson Enterprises LLC operates as a specialized mobile semi-truck repair service within the "Auto Repair Stations" category in Butler, IN. Their core offering is the convenience of on-site repairs for heavy-duty vehicles, often with quick response times. While some customers have lauded their efficiency and fairness, other experiences highlight concerns regarding the thoroughness of repairs and post-service communication. For potential customers, understanding this dual nature is key when considering their services for critical truck repairs.

McPherson Enterprises LLC Customer Reviews

Called this company to have a coolant leak from the APU fixed. He told me he finished and put coolant in the truck. Once I paid, he quickly took off. Not even a mile down the road, I was leaking coolant and my truck began to overheat. The line he had just “repaired” was leaking again. Tried several times to call and text him about it, even left a voicemail for him. Haven’t gotten a response! Had to take the truck to a different shop to get repaired. Mechanic at the new shop said that the hose wasn’t on correctly and blew off; a bunch of bolts were left off and some were loose. Overall, not very happy about my experience with this company. And wouldn’t recommend my worst enemy to get a repair from this place!

If you are in need of MOBILE SEMI REPAIR - STOP and call this Company. We had a Semi broke down on the side of the Freeway in New Haven, Indiana. This company politely, promptly answered the phone, was able to be at the Truck in less than an hour and had the Truck on its way in less then 2 Hours. They did not stock the Part that was needed to completely finish the repair, which was understood, wasn't a Part most shops would have stocked. But was able to repair best they could to get the Semi off of the Freeway somewhere safe. Quality Service @ A Fair Price!

He mainly works on Semis but he does work on regular vehicles as well! In the past he has worked on my cars and pickup trucks! He also did a lockout on my father's car once! He's honest and reliable for roadside assistance and mechanic work! The best of the best!
