When will you fire the mechanic whose shoulder has been out and miraculously now has the flu???? These excuses are getting too old. I left a 5 star review when I purchased my CX-30. My experience with service has been great until this roadblock. It’s caused longer wait times and appointments which are too far in advance. I didn’t want to leave a bad review for the rest of the service department which has been left with this ridiculous situation. HIRE A NEW MECHANIC!!!!

Yesterday I dropped off my car and got a 15k mile service on my 21 Cx5. The appointment was scheduled for 11 and my Mazda was ready at 2:30. Overall the service was quick and I didn’t get upsold on anything that wasn’t needed (especially since the car has low miles). The tech video that they send out is a great and I enjoyed it. Finally the parking situation isn’t the best, however the dealer lot is a bit small (so it makes sense).

Went for service for a full synthetic oil change and tire rotation (my initial request). Dealer was nice enough to taxi me back to work. While car was being serviced got recommended for 1) Cabin air filter replacement - they were overcharging, declined 2) Fuel injector service - not necessary, bottle cleaner is like $10. If something wasn't running smooth or broken we would replace the part (fuel pump etc) 3) front brake pads gone - this was true, only changed the front pads. Price was very high even with labor got fleeced here on pads but had no choice won't complain 4) told me I needed a wheel alignment for improper wear without using a hunter wheel alignment machine to test, I haven't rotated my tires in ages and the car is not pulling in any direction. This was a bad call they priced it at $155 to $170 which is a joke even if they out service this. You shouldn't pay more than $110 for a wheel alignment outsource. Declined Afterwards when I check my bill I realize 1) I was charged low for the oil change.. why? Because they didn't use full synthetic as requested. It's a turbo engine and what it calls for. They used the correct type 5w30 but only a synthetic blend/bulk barrel oil. I questioned this from not the mechanic and got a "the car got what it calls for" They also charge for the gasket which is whatever, I wouldn't to that but is what it is. So following week had to get another oil change done myself to get the correct oil. Overall due to being given lower tier oil against my request which I mentioned twice and the mechanic recs (which were bad, esp fuel injector service on a new car only using 93 octane since 8 miles. High octane normally have cleaner additives from different brands) can get techron cleaner for $9 as well The price of just front brake pads and how they left my car after service in a perfect spot to get side swiped by incoming parking lot traffic.. not a place I would visit again. I appreciate the taxi though that was nice. Look for a reputable local mechanic and/or a dealer you can trust. I've used Mazda Huntington a few times before and never was given incorrect oil or oversold on anything. Although local mechanic is primary go to.

This Mazda dealer is the best. I came in without an appointment and they checked my car in right away. The service clerk Raven was so professional and courteous she was able to get me a courtesy vehicle and my vehicle was available for pick up by the end of day. I have a luxury car in the family and when I take that other car to the bmw dealership they are not as courteous and efficient as Mazda 112

This place was able to resurrect my CX-5 from the dead after rodents destroyed much of its wiring. They were kind enough to provide me with a loaner while my vehicle was being serviced. Thank you.
