Mavis Tires & Brakes

I took my wife's accord in for four tires and an alignment. I decided to go with Mavis considering the reduction of quality at discount tires. Needles to say the guys at Mavis did an exceptional job getting my wife's car back up to par, and they did a great job pricing the tires, alignment, and warranty. I will definitely continue to do business with this team. Great quality and prices!

The staff here are super friendly and were ready to help my wife and i at the drop of a hat. They informed us of plug that was installed on the inside of the side wall! Great pricing on new tires that they installed very quickly. Absolutely wonderful experience, 10/10 will get service here every time!

We were taking a large group of college students on a church retreat, on three 15-passenger busses. Just as we were heading out of town, one of the busses got a flat tire. While every other shop we called said they wouldn't be able to get us in before they closed, the staff here told us that they would help us out. Upon our arrival, the staff patched the tire very quickly and we were on our way. We traveled all the way to NC and back with absolutely no issues. Needless to say, they saved this trip for these students who had been looking forward to it for a while. I can't speak highly enough of the knowledge, professionalism, and kindness shown to us by the guys at NTB. Highly recommend!

Great experience! I went to my dealership to buy a product and asked about patching a leak - they were slow, but couldn't see me for three hours. Plus the price to patch a tire was a little outrageous. Left there, and decided to check Mavis. Came in and was greeted by the assistant manager, Mike. Asked about patching my tire. He was very accommodating and professional. He made sure he had the right size tire in stock, just in case it could not be patched and checked on a few tires , in stock, with the best performance at the best price. I left to walk over to Best Buy and ~ 30 mins later, he called to tell me it was done. Because of him, the service and the price, I'll be sure to check Mavis, before my dealership.

This is about the Mavis Tire & Brake store on Clemson Blvd in Anderson SC. I’ve waited 24 hours before writing this post, so I could “cool”down”. Hopefully this will be about my disappointment in the Manager’s poor customer service and not the store overall. I am about to take a trip out to western states and wished to put four snow tires on my truck. These tires are not on rims. I was quoted a price of $130 to perform this task. I left my truck as I had other errands to run. About 30 minutes later, I received a call that the Manager said he would not put the snow tires on my truck as they were “used” and not new. So, I came back and picked up my keys so I could leave, and I asked Mike (very good front counter service) what the problem was. I was again told the manager said the tires were USED so they would not put them on the truck. I know people down here in the South probably don’t understand, but really, How many people do you know that buy “throw-a-way” seasonal tires? Snow tires get put on in November and taken off in March each year. They last four to five years this way. This Manager should make a call to a counterpart up at the Mavis store in New Milford, CT and ask them about requiring his/her customers to buy new snow tires EVERY Fall and see how that goes over. I had to pick up my truck and waste time to go to Discount tire, (who gladly put the tires on in less than 1 hour). So, I wasted time going to Mavis AND they have lost out on our tire switch and on the brake and shock replacement job on my wife’s car that I had worked out with Mike to perform on Monday. They had four guys sitting around when I got there and just pissed away easy service work for them. Not good customer service at all.

I’ve been in the area for 35 years and have had experiences at all of the local tire and brake shops (a highly competitive market) but have never had a more prompt, polite and professional experience than at Mavis. The storefront appears modest in this specific location tucked into what appears to be in a small corner of the larger tractor supply building but don’t let that deceive you. When you enter their workspace, it is expansive, meticulously clean and technically advanced. I could not recommend a business more highly and will never look elsewhere for the services that they so competently provide at a more than fair price.

Okay, here's a review for a tire shop: I recently had an outstanding experience at Mavis tires and brakes. From the moment I walked in, the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. They took the time to listen to my concerns about my tires. They give exceptional service and expertise making them my top choice in town!!!

Great service! Booked an appointment for a flat and they explained the options clearly and worked efficiently. The only tire place I could find open on Sunday! The staff were friendly and helpful; I would highly recommend for fast, quality tire repair and replacement.
