Main St. Muffler & Brake is a name that frequently appears in this context, known for its focus on exhaust and brake systems, among other essential undercar services. While there appear to be multiple businesses operating under similar names across different regions (e.g., Indianapolis, IN; Vidor, TX; Springfield, OR; North Vancouver, BC), the core offerings and commitment to specific automotive needs generally remain consistent. This introduction will focus on the common characteristics and services typically associated with a reputable Main St. Muffler & Brake establishment, drawing on general information available for such specialized auto repair shops.

Auto repair stations named Main St. Muffler & Brake are often strategically located on or near main thoroughfares, making them easily accessible for local motorists. Business hours typically cater to the standard weekday schedule, with some locations offering Saturday hours, providing flexibility for customers to drop off their vehicles or wait for minor repairs. The environment is generally that of a professional garage, equipped with the necessary tools and bays to perform specialized undercar work.

They saved my butt today. Drove up there from new york to see friends in a restaurant, Had brake failure in my passenger front and they were great. On a Saturday got my brake fixed and on my way home safe. The young man and mechanic that helped me were both outstanding

Great, prompt service. Modest office, but they fixed my car's issue pronto and for a very fair price. Michael Dejesus, the manager, is a good guy you can trust.

If you don't really know car like me ask them to buy the parts yourself and just pay for the service fee instead of letting them do everything. Otherwise you will end up paying double price because the price they list on the receipt for each part does not match if you go to an auto parts and purchase it yourself. Matter fact they don't even give you a detailed estimation, they just list the parts in a piece of paper and tell you the total cost after the service is done which I was really disappointed with. Although the technician is nice but I think I was overcharged. I paid $850 to replace a muffler (converter not included) on a Toyota rav4 2004.

My daughter's 2007 VW Rabbit needed repair to the exhaust system. We arrived at 8:00 AM (opening time) and received a friendly welcome from Vin, the manager. He had Howie (the mechanic) bring the car right into the garage and put it on the lift to the find the problem. Howie showed me the problem, a loose and worn exhaust sleeve bracket, and explained the repair procedure. He also provided an repair estimate. The repair part was not on hand, but Vin quickly ordered the part from local auto supply place. The car was ready at the time originally estimated. The total cost for parts, labor and tax was $95; the price originally quoted. Overall, this was a first-rate experience. Highest recommendation.
