I took my car in for inspection this morning, and later they called claiming it had a major mechanical issue. They said if I didn’t fix it, they wouldn’t give me the inspection sticker. I refused, took my car to another shop, and it passed without any issues! That’s some shady business right there! Classic scare tactic to squeeze money out of you.

This is the first shop I've trusted in a long time. Eddie's so nice, and they always take care of me. Car work is expensive, but I've checked their pricing and it's always been more than fair. As long as I'm in the area, I'll keep taking my car to these guys

Was nice when I brought the car in. His eyes lit up when he saw how much work meeded to be done. It was $2000 in work including an inspection with new stickers. The Inspection didn’t pass due to a recall but Eddie the owner told me to wait for the part, come back, and he will put the new stickers on and inspect no charge.Long story short, he says I waited too long. I had to wait a long time for the parts and he knew I would when he promised me that. Left a sour taste in my mouth. Get it in writing, whatever you do in life!

First off, I'm a person who rarely writes reviews. However, I've been so happy with Eddie and Mainline Auto's service that I had to make sure I gave them a positive review. I used to use Firestone for oil/tire needs, but was often dissatisfied with wait-time, cost, and general dishonesty with them. Then, I discovered Mainline Auto about 3 years ago. My wife and I've been using their tire/oil/general repair services ever since. Like other comments have mentioned, Eddie is extremely helpful and honest. He goes out of his way to give you truthful guidance, which saves his clients money in the long run. He always remembers my wife and I as well, which is always a plus. I highly recommend Mainline Auto!

One star is a stretch for this auto-repair shop. This place is an absolute rip off and you should stay away at all costs. Eddie, while nice, will try and take advantage of you if you let him. He will tell you everything needs to be fixed and then up charge you for the services. He was so frustrating to work with. I trusted him as I am new to the Philly area and should not have. I will never return to Main Line Auto and highly suggest you avoid this place as well
