Been almost a year now since my mother and I have bought the 2014 Subaru wrx from Leo and his son here, and he still hasn’t offered any sort of financial compensation after scamming us. Listed nothing wrong with the car in the add, and he disconnected and reconnected the battery to clear all codes right before we got there to look at it. After a 5 mile test drive, the engine light comes back on, Leo and his son scan it and lies, says it’s a ghost code, meaning nothing. 200 miles later the engine blows up, because Leo and his son didn’t put the turbo inlit pipe on, so the turbo sucked in all the dirt, blowing the turbo up and the engine. Also leading to a 8k repair bill, on top of all the dents in the car from his son putting the car into a guard rail. Leo and his son are both scammers, I’m still able to take down all the bad reviews, but I’m not doing so until Leo offers some sort of compensation for lying multiple times. He knew the engine was about to blow, that’s why they reset the battery, and lied about the code.

RESPONSE BELOW: Bought my first car from Leo and his son here. Was told repeatedly in the ad and verbally that they put a brand new engine in the car, around 5k miles on it. We got the deal done and as it was idling, the engine light came on. Leo got his scan tool, him and his son scanned the code, and I couldn’t see what they were doing. He cleared the code and when my mom asked what it was, he said it was a “ghost code” meaning nothing. We told them multiple times this was my first car, and my mother is single raising 2 kids. We got it home, found out the code was for a misfire in cylinder 3, and less than 200 miles later the engine completely blows. My mother called him up and told her he had nothing to do with it and it’s on us. He lied about the code, and lied about the engine. Told us we can have an extra set of wheels as well and never gave them to us. The cars been sitting in the shop getting the engine rebuilt for months now, costing more than double what the cars worth. This guy doesn’t deserve to be in business if he does this to a single mother and doesn’t offer any sort of help to fix it, he is a scammer, stay away. I’m more than willing to have a talk with Leo and work out some sort of resolution, but like I said he just ignores every attempt. The deal was made by the OWNER and SON of this garage. They’re the name, face, whole entire brand. The fact that you both scammed me, and lied straight to our face multiple times just goes to show that your business is the exact same.

Bought a car from Leo and his son. Both of them are fast talking scammers that lied in the description of the car, and lied about the condition of the car. Couldn't get away from me fast enough after they got my money after they sold me a car that turned out to be a very expensive lawn ornament.

Friends told me about him, saying he was slow and very dishonest. I still went to him because it was an emergency, lo and behold he lived up to what my friends said. I needed a weld done, air filter, and glow plugs. He just knocked my current air filter out until it looked clean, the weld was terrible broke within 2 weeks, and didn’t even do the glow plugs. He just warmed the truck up before I got there to make it seem like he did. Still charged me for all the work though. I Called for the money back, he refused the first time and now won’t answer any calls. As a business owner, do better.

Owner made lies straight to my face, payed over 2k then needed to take it back into the shop 50 miles later for the same issue. The current mechanic told me the part Leo replaced was never replaced. When I contacted Leo about it he was very aggressive and never settled to put any money toward the part he charged for but never replaced. Biggest scam out there REPLY: Don’t play dumb now bud you know exactly what you did.
