I drove in very confused, but my parts are in and I waited and Travis talk to me at the service desk at the Lafayette service and he understood that I have to leave in about hour and a half and he got me in and he was something very simple and he said he will get it done. I tell you what I have always get a very best service at Lafayette Ford service or anywhere else in Lafayette Ford but today Travis got five star from me. Thank you for helping me today.

Probably the most difficult dealership to coordinate with and getting services completed in a timely manner is unheard of. Thankfully my maintenance package isn’t location specific. Editing to add: The only positive here are the women who answer the phone are kind.

I made an appointment to have my 2018 F-150 serviced. Two recalls, oil change, rotate tires, windshield wiper motor needed replaced. I was told when scheduling, the recalls would not take more than an hour or two so if I dropped it off in the morning, I would get it back in the afternoon with everything fixed. So I dropped it off 7:50am. Told the Service Attendant I had to pick it up at 4pm that day. He said ok and made a note on my work order. I left and went to work. A Ford dealer will always call you to discuss what they find before proceeding with repairs. I called my Service Attendant at 2:30pm to check on the vehicle because I hadn’t heard anything. It took several times of calling and thankfully Doris (props to her and that’s the only reason Im using her name) was nice enough to hand carry him a note to call me back. 3pm I get a call from my representative, telling me of $5,000.00 DOLLARS worth of things that needed fixed (no exaggeration). They had fixed the recalls, oil change and tire rotation and made sure to inspect my vehicle for other issues. Obviously there wasn’t enough time to get the wind shield wiper motor replaced at this point. So I paid my bill and left at 4:10pm. The next day, I took my truck to my regular mechanic for a second opinion. $550 dollars later I left with everything fixed that needed fixing. The mechanic said 3 of the 4 items on their list were erroneous! The three items equaled $3600.00 on LaFayettes quote. The one item LaFayette pointed out that was really broken, did MAJORLY need to be fixed. They wanted $827 and my guy charged $550. I didn’t expect the dealership to be less expensive than my mechanic, so the $275 difference is not a big deal. The whole point of this review is 1. the lack of time management on their part for an scheduled appointment and 2. “$3600 of things that needed to be fixed,” that my reputable mechanic thoroughly checked and found nothing wrong with? Hmmmm. I’ve attached the estimate but covered up my personal information and the Service Attendants name. Excuse my layman’s terms notes on quote. Think what you will with this information….I will be going back to Liberty Ford. I didn’t realize how great they were until this experience…

Repaired under warranty. Had issues actually talking to service rep on the phone, always went to voicemail. Repair took 4x longer than quoted, fine with that since I had a loner but would have appreciated not having to reach out myself to find that out. Biggest issue, around the engine area was marked up after (pictures) from what I imagine is the mechanic leaning over it without a towel or other protection. Also truck had pine needles/pine tree debris in bed and spots on paint from some type of sap
