Kudick Chevrolet Buick Service Introduce
Kudick Chevrolet Buick Service, located at 802 N Union St, Mauston, WI 53948, USA, functions as a dealership service center specifically for Chevrolet and Buick vehicles. As an "Auto Repair Station," this facility provides a range of services and goods tailored to the needs of owners of these specific brands, offering both routine maintenance and more complex repairs. Being a dealership service center typically implies access to factory-trained technicians, genuine OEM parts, and specialized diagnostic equipment designed for Chevrolet and Buick models.
The primary role of Kudick Chevrolet Buick Service is to support the longevity and performance of vehicles manufactured by General Motors. This involves not only addressing immediate repair needs but also performing scheduled maintenance that adheres to manufacturer guidelines. Their services are designed to ensure that vehicles remain in optimal condition, which is particularly important for maintaining warranties and resale value.
The environment at Kudick Chevrolet Buick Service, based on customer feedback, presents a mixed picture. While it operates as a professional dealership service center with an expectation of specialized care for Chevrolet and Buick vehicles, customer experiences suggest inconsistencies in service delivery and communication. One review highlights issues with the availability of loaner cars, a critical aspect for customers who live far from the dealership or cannot wait while their vehicle is being serviced. The long wait times for parts, particularly for warranty work, and the reported failure of technicians to complete scheduled work, indicate potential challenges in the service environment's efficiency and organization. The critical incident involving brake work, where a crucial part was missing after service, points to concerns about the quality control and thoroughness of repairs. These instances suggest that while the physical environment is that of a dealership service center, the operational efficiency and customer communication may vary.
Kudick Chevrolet Buick Service offers a range of services typical of a dealership service center for its brands. These generally include:
Routine Maintenance: This encompasses essential services such as oil changes, tire rotations, multi-point vehicle inspections, and fluid checks, crucial for preventative care.
Warranty Work: As a dealership, they are authorized to perform warranty repairs on Chevrolet and Buick vehicles, addressing defects covered under the manufacturer's warranty.
Brake Service and Repair: Comprehensive brake inspections, pad and rotor replacement, and repair of brake system components are offered.
Vehicle Diagnostics: Utilizing specialized diagnostic equipment for Chevrolet and Buick vehicles to accurately identify issues, such as those related to engine lights, electrical systems, or performance problems.
Heated Seat Repair: As specifically mentioned by a customer, they undertake repairs of vehicle amenities like heated seats, which can involve complex electrical and upholstery work.
Tire Services: This would typically include tire pressure checks, rotation, and potentially new tire sales or repairs, as indicated by a customer's experience with a tire pressure warning after an oil change.
Genuine Parts Sales: They provide genuine GM parts specifically designed for Chevrolet and Buick vehicles, ensuring compatibility and quality. This acts as their "auto parts store" component.
While the range of services is comprehensive for their specific brands, the execution of these services, as per customer feedback, is an area of concern that prospective customers should consider.
The features of Kudick Chevrolet Buick Service, as a dealership, are intended to include specialized knowledge and resources. These typically involve:
Factory-Trained Technicians: Technicians are expected to undergo specific training from Chevrolet and Buick, providing them with in-depth knowledge of these vehicles.
Genuine OEM Parts: The use of original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts ensures that replacements meet factory specifications and quality standards.
Specialized Diagnostic Tools: Access to proprietary diagnostic equipment designed for GM vehicles, allowing for more accurate and efficient troubleshooting.
Loaner Vehicles: While a service they aim to provide, customer feedback indicates inconsistency in the availability of loaner cars, which is a significant feature for customers needing transportation during repairs.
However, customer reviews suggest that some of these intended features, particularly regarding the efficiency of service, communication, and the reliability of repairs, may not always be consistently delivered. Issues such as parts being on back order for extended periods, work not being completed as scheduled, and critical safety oversights (like the brake issue) detract from the overall perceived features and benefits.
Promotional information for Kudick Chevrolet Buick Service, while not explicitly detailed in the provided reviews, would typically revolve around the advantages of using a dealership service center. This often includes emphasizing the use of genuine parts, expert technicians, and the peace of mind associated with factory-authorized service. Dealerships also frequently promote:
Service Specials: Regular promotions on common services like oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
Parts Specials: Discounts on specific genuine parts and accessories.
Service Contracts/Maintenance Plans: Options for pre-paid maintenance plans to help customers budget for future service needs.
Online Scheduling: Convenience of booking service appointments through their website.
Customer Waiting Areas: Many dealerships offer comfortable waiting areas with amenities like Wi-Fi, refreshments, and sometimes shuttle services.
However, the customer feedback provided indicates that while these might be advertised or expected services, the practical execution can fall short. For instance, the lack of consistent loaner car availability directly contradicts a common dealership convenience. Prospective customers are advised to contact Kudick Chevrolet Buick Service directly at (608) 350-1099 or +1 608-350-1099 to confirm service availability, inquire about specific promotions, and discuss their needs, especially if they rely on a loaner vehicle or have time-sensitive repairs. While the dealership aims to provide comprehensive service for its brands, recent customer experiences suggest that thorough communication and verification of service expectations are crucial.

Kudick Chevrolet Buick Service Customer Reviews
This is the first vehicle I've bought from these guys. First my experience started off great. But every time I ha e to take this vehicle in my service gets worse. They supply a loaner car 2 out 10 times. I live 30 miles away I can't just drop my car off or hang out all day while work is getting done. The first warranty work I was supposed to get done was with a heat seat repair, they had it for 3 weeks never got the part in, it was on back order. Then when the part came in I dropped my car off again. And there tech never got to it. Now they have to start a whole new warranty report, I might have a heated seat by winter. This time I need caliber work and new brakes put on. I had to call them to see if my car was done. Went to pick it up drove it home all good. Driving into work the next morning herd a clunk and when I went to slow down I had about 0 break power. Needless to say the picture I'm providing sums up why there is little breaking. They got a phone call right away. I'm lucky I herd the clunk and it was me driving not one of kids. And I was able to bring it to a slow down stop. If I would of had to emergency break to avoid something or stop quick the case would be different.

Went for an oil change. When we left the tire pressure sign was on and none of the tires show the pressure. They were working when we went in.

Online scheduling allowed me to schedule service outside of operating hours. When I went to drop the truck off, Ryan did everything possible to locate a tech and honor the scheduled service! Absolutely cannot find better dedication to customer service than what you get at Kudick!!! Many thanks!

No different in tactics of taking advantage of customers. I dropped off my car telling them I suspected the water pump. They could not provide me a loaner car & dropped me off at home in my own car. I walked to work, they called me at work asking for time to take apart the timing chain unit, I said sure. I called the next day to check on progress. I was told my car was put back together without repairs because their worker did not show up & I could get my car if I needed it. I walked again to work & then got my car afterwards. I then received a bill on the mail demanding payment for the engine teardown & assembly, it's actually running worse now then before. I called asking what I was paying for when they did no work on it. They said they would give it in credit if I brought the car back, I ask about a loaner, they had none to give. I can't be without a car. It's not my fault they don't have loaners, that thier worker didn't show up, & they went on a fishing explore only to suggest what I already told them the first day & in the paperwork it says they suggest the water pump but did not do the timing chain check they asked extra time for. Tired of these places taking advantage of people & getting away with it. They have said they will send it to small claims, that's ok I want the judge to hear & make them explain what exactly I'm paying for?
