I came to this place because of their high reviews and “good reputation” . I was very disappointed. My car was rear ended and Kubis carried out the repairs. At first I was pleased with the work. Then couple months after part of my rear bumper was sagging down. Which they fixed by adding more glue and leaving me with uneven gaps in the rear bumper. Then I noticed the bumper developed a spot where it appeared warped. I brought in for them to look at. I was told that the corner of the rear crash bar that was replaced by them was now protruding out. Causing the warp in the rear bumper. There are no scratches or signs showing the car was impacted after repairs. This simply just happened because the bumper flexed in the summer heat according to Erin and this would not be covered by their life time warranty. I was very disappointed that they would not take responsibility for the work they did. I really did not expect to have a such a negative experience.

Literally professionals!!! The damage was done by a deer.. Days later i can’t believe that the car looks brand new.. Definitely the best body shop in the state of Illinois. The team working there makes you feel like part of them. They keep me posted about everything that was going on throughout the repair! Definitely number one for me! Marvelous job 👏

I suppose all good things must come to an end. The previous owner Dale Kubis had the best customer service and support. Since there are new owners things have changed. We had a tree limb fall on our 2007 Explorer. Nearing the end of its life we were worried it would be deemed total (although in good condition with lower mileage). They did manage to do the work and keep it within the amount to not total the vehicle. Something we are grateful for. The work seems good and the vehicle was meticulously cleaned. Biggest upset was part of the roof rack was not replaced. The response we got when noticing it was, “it wasn’t there when we received the vehicle.” Why yes, it broke off from the tree limb. And then we were told that it was too difficult to find the piece to replace it because it was an older car and parts are hard to find. And that we were nearing the total loss amount. After some research, we found within 1 search an OEM replacement part for $23.00. Dale Kubis would’ve went above and beyond. And although we are pleased with the work that was completed we just did not get the same service as we’ve received with Dale the previous owner. Their work in comparison to other shops we cannot speak to, only comparing to previous experience at Kubis before/after new ownership.

My experience with Kubis Auto Repair was nothing short of top-notch. I had my Cooper in to repair the back bumper of a couple of highly noticeable scratches, and it now literally looks brand new!
