Kingman Pic A Part Introduce

For the budget-conscious individuals and dedicated do-it-yourselfers in and around Kingman, Arizona, maintaining and repairing vehicles can often present financial challenges. Kingman Pic A Part offers a unique and resourceful solution as a local auto repair station, albeit one with a distinct approach. Instead of offering direct repair services, Kingman Pic A Part operates as a self-service auto parts yard, providing a vast inventory of used vehicles from which customers can source the parts they need at significantly reduced costs. This model empowers individuals to take control of their auto repairs, making vehicle maintenance more accessible and affordable.

The environment at Kingman Pic A Part is that of a working salvage yard. Rows upon rows of vehicles, spanning various makes and models, are organized to allow customers to navigate and locate the specific vehicle that might contain the part they require. While it's not a traditional retail setting with polished showrooms, the focus is on functionality and accessibility. The yard is typically spacious, allowing for ease of movement between vehicles. Customers are encouraged to come prepared with their own tools, as the core concept is self-service – you locate, remove, and purchase the parts yourself. This hands-on approach is a key feature that appeals to those who enjoy working on their vehicles and are looking to save money on parts.

As a self-service auto parts provider, the primary "service" offered by Kingman Pic A Part is access to a wide array of used vehicles for parts harvesting. The inventory is constantly changing as new vehicles are acquired, providing a fresh supply of components. Customers can typically find parts such as:

  • Engines and engine components
  • Transmissions
  • Body panels (doors, hoods, fenders, trunks)
  • Interior parts (seats, dashboards, consoles)
  • Electrical components (alternators, starters, lights)
  • Wheels and tires
  • Glass (windshields, windows)
  • And much more

The availability of specific parts depends entirely on the vehicles currently in the yard. This ever-changing inventory is a key characteristic of this type of auto parts provider. Savvy customers often visit regularly to check for new arrivals that might contain the parts they need.

One of the significant features of Kingman Pic A Part is the affordability of their parts. Because the parts are salvaged from used vehicles, they are typically priced considerably lower than brand-new parts from traditional auto parts stores or dealerships. This cost-saving aspect is the primary draw for many customers. The pricing structure is usually straightforward, often based on the type of part rather than the original cost or age of the vehicle it came from.

Another key feature is the element of discovery. For those who enjoy working on cars, the process of searching for and retrieving a needed part can be a rewarding experience. It requires some mechanical aptitude and the willingness to get hands-on, but the satisfaction of finding the right part at a great price is a significant benefit. Kingman Pic A Part essentially provides a large, organized "treasure hunt" for auto parts.

Kingman Pic A Part also plays a role in environmental sustainability by recycling vehicles and giving usable parts a second life. This reduces waste and the demand for new manufacturing, contributing to a more environmentally conscious approach to vehicle maintenance.

While specific promotional information might not always be readily available online for this type of business, self-service auto parts yards often have their own forms of "promotions" in the form of:

  • Regularly updating their inventory with new vehicles, offering a fresh selection of parts.
  • Special pricing or discounts on specific vehicles or parts on occasion. Customers are often encouraged to visit the yard or check their website or local listings for any such announcements.
  • Entry deals or discounts on certain days.

It's advisable for local users to check the Kingman Pic A Part website or contact them directly to inquire about any current specials, yard hours, and the latest vehicle arrivals. Some yards may also offer online tools or lists of recently added vehicles to help customers plan their visits more effectively.

For local users in Kingman and the surrounding areas, Kingman Pic A Part offers a valuable resource for affordable auto parts. It's an ideal destination for mechanics, DIY enthusiasts, and anyone looking to save money on vehicle repairs by sourcing used components. By bringing their own tools and investing a bit of time and effort, customers can find the parts they need at a fraction of the cost of new parts. The constantly changing inventory and the potential for significant savings make Kingman Pic A Part a unique and essential part of the local auto repair ecosystem.

In conclusion, Kingman Pic A Part functions as a vital self-service auto parts yard within the "Auto Repair Stations" category. It provides an accessible and affordable avenue for obtaining used auto parts. While it doesn't offer traditional repair services, its environment caters to those who prefer a hands-on approach to vehicle maintenance. The key features include a vast and ever-changing inventory of vehicles, significantly lower prices compared to new parts, and the opportunity for a resourceful and potentially rewarding parts-finding experience. Local users seeking cost-effective solutions for their auto repair needs should consider Kingman Pic A Part as a primary destination.

Kingman Pic A Part Customer Reviews

I've found some parts i needed here, but most of the 11th gen f150s i was after were pretty stripped down. Next time I came, a week later to get a part i knew was there, he wouldn't let me in stating they close and don't let anyone in after 3:45. It was 3:34! I only needed an interior trim piece which would of taken only a minute to get. He wouldn't reason and said his clock read later. I was using accurate satellite time from my phone. I got off early to get there and I couldn't get in. Not a huge deal I just came back 2 days later...only to find all of the f150's were gone and crushed 😅. Customer service could be better, but sometimes they do have have the parts needed at reasonable prices. It is what it is.

We were at Pic A Part at the end of the day today on 4-16-24 and I'd really like to say thank you to the gentleman who helped us at the register. You are very kind gentleman and if anyone needs good decent parts at a decent price range here is the Best place to go. We come here all the time and have always been treated with respect. I'm just glad this place is here for people when they least expect needing parts for their vehicles. Even tires and more. Terri & Nathan

They don't know what they have. They give the wrong prices to me. Concerning the price of a front door to a rear door. Evidently front doors are 120$ more than a rear. Got a price for a door on a Lincoln for 75$ went back to get it. Car was gone assumed crushed. They don't know. Went back a year later saw the same car, it was relocated. Went out front to see what they cost then, same door was $250. Recently they quoted me 320$ for rear door. Went back and got the real price 120$ less. They are just unqualified to be called a salvage yard.
